அதற்குத் தாவீதுராஜா ஒர்னானை நோக்கி: அப்படியல்ல, நான் உன்னுடையதை இலவசமாய் வாங்கி, கர்த்தருக்குச் சர்வாங்க தகனத்தைப் பலியிடாமல், அதை பெறும் விலைக்கு வாங்குவேன் என்று சொல்லி,

ஆனால் தாவீது அரசன், “இல்லை, நான் உனக்கு முழு விலையையும் தருவேன். நான் உனக்குரிய எதையும் எடுத்து கர்த்தருக்கு கொடுக்கமாட்டேன். இலவசமாக எதையும் எடுத்து காணிக்கை செலுத்தமாட்டேன்” என ஓர்னாவிடம் கூறினான்.

Nay; לֹ֕א lōʾ loh
but כִּֽי kî kee
I will verily קָנֹ֥ה qānâ ka-NA
buy אֶקְנֶ֖ה qānâ ka-NA
price: בְּכֶ֣סֶף kesep keh-SEF
it for the full מָלֵ֑א mālēʾ ma-LAY
for כִּ֠י kî kee
I will not לֹֽא lōʾ loh
take אֶשָּׂ֤א nāśāʾ na-SA
