லேவியரில் சம்பிரதியாகிய செமாயா என்னும் நெதனெயேலின் குமாரன், ராஜாவுக்கும் பிரபுக்களுக்கும் ஆசாரியனாகிய சாதோக்குக்கும் அபியத்தாரின் குமாரனாகிய அகிமெலேக்குக்கும் ஆசாரியரும் லேவியருமான பிதாக்களின் தலைவருக்கும் முன்பாக அவர்கள் நாமங்களை எழுதினான்; ஒரு பிதாவின் வீட்டுச் சீட்டு எலெயாசாருக்கு விழுந்தது; பின்பு அந்தப்படியே இத்தாமாருக்கும் விழுந்தது.

செமாயா செயலாளனாக இருந்தான். இவன் நெதனெயேலின் மகன். செமாயா, லேவியர் கோத்திரத்திலிருந்து வந்தவன். இவன் அவர்களின் சந்ததியினரின் பெயர்களை எழுதினான். அவன் இதனைத் தாவீது அரசன் மற்றும் சாதோக் ஆசாரியர்களின் தலைவர்கள், அகிமெலேக், ஆசாரிய குடும்பங்களின் தலைவர்கள், லேவியர்களின் தலைவர்கள் ஆகியோரின் முன்னிலையில் செய்தான். அகிமெலேக் அபியதாரின் மகன். அவர்கள் ஒவ்வொரு முறையும் சீட்டுக் குலுக்கல் மூலம் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தனர். செமாயா இவர்களின் பெயர்களை எழுதினான். எனவே, எலெயாசார் மற்றும் இத்தாமார் கோத்திரங்களிடையே வேலைகளைப் பங்கிட்டனர்.
