1 மேலும் சுரமண்டலங்களாலும் தம்புருகளாலும் கைத்தாளங்களாலும், தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற ஆசாப், ஏமான், எதுத்தூன் என்பவர்களின் குமாரரில் சிலரை, தாவீதும் தேவாலயச் சேனைகளின் பிரபுக்களும் ஊழியத்திற்கென்று பிரித்துவைத்தார்கள்; தங்கள் ஊழியத்தின் கிரியைக்குக் குறித்துவைக்கப்பட்ட மனுஷர்களின் தொகையாவது: Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:

2 ராஜாவுடைய கட்டளைப்பிரமாணமாய்த் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற ஆசாப்பின் வசத்திலிருக்கிற, ஆசாப்பின் குமாரரில் சக்கூர், யோசேப்பு, நெதானியா, அஷாரேலா என்பவர்களும், Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.

3 கர்த்தரைப் போற்றித் துதித்துத் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொல்லுகிற தங்கள் தகப்பனாகிய எதுத்தூனின் வசத்திலே சுரமண்டலங்களை வாசிக்க, எதுத்தூனின் குமாரராகிய கெதலியா, சேரீ, எஷாயா, அஷபியா, மத்தித்தியா என்னும் ஆறுபேரும், Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

4 கொம்பைத் தொனிக்கப்பண்ண, தேவவிஷயத்தில் ராஜாவுக்கு ஞானதிருஷ்டிக்காரனாகிய ஏமானின் குமாரர் புக்கியா, மத்தனியா, ஊசியேல், செபுவேல், எரிமோத், அனனியா, அனானி, எலியாத்தா, கிதல்தி, ரொமந்தியேசர், யோஸ்பெகாஷா, மலோத்தி, ஒத்திர், மகாசியோத் என்பவர்களுமே. Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:

5 இவர்களெல்லாரும் ஏமானின் குமாரராயிருந்தார்கள்; தேவன் ஏமானுக்குப் பதினாலு குமாரரையும் மூன்று குமாரத்திகளையும் கொடுத்தார். All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 இவர்கள் அனைவரும் ராஜாவுடைய கட்டளைப்பிரமாணமாய்க் கர்த்தருடைய ஆலயத்தில் தாளங்கள் தம்புருகள் சுரமண்டலங்களாகிய கீதவாத்தியம் வாசிக்க, தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தின் ஊழியமாக அவரவர் தங்கள் தங்கள் தகப்பன்மாராகிய ஆசாப் எதுத்தூன், ஏமான் என்பவர்கள் வசத்தில் இருந்தார்கள். All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 கர்த்தரைப் பாடும் பாட்டுகளைக் கற்றுக்கொண்டு, நிபுணரான தங்கள் சகோதரரோடுங்கூட அவர்கள் இலக்கத்திற்கு இருநூற்றெண்பத்தெட்டுப்பேராயிருந்தார்கள். So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.

8 அவர்களில் சிறியவனும் பெரியவனும், ஆசானும் மாணாக்கனும், சரிசமானமாய் முறைவரிசைக்காகச் சீட்டுப்போட்டுக்கொண்டார்கள். And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.

9 முதலாவது சீட்டு ஆசாப் வம்சமான யோசேப்பின் பேர்வழிக்கும், இரண்டாவது கெதலியா, அவன் சகோதரர், அவன் குமாரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும், Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:

10 மூன்றாவது சக்கூர், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டுபேர் வழிக்கும், The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

11 நான்காவது இஸ்ரி, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டுபேர் வழிக்கும், The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

12 ஐந்தாவது நெத்தனியா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும், The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

18 பதினோராவது அசாரியேல், அவன்குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும், The eleventh to Azareel, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

19 பன்னிரண்டாவது அஷாபியா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும், The twelfth to Hashabiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

20 பதின்மூன்றாவது சுபவேல், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும், The thirteenth to Shubael, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

24 பதினேழாவது யோஸ்பேக்காஷா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டு பேர்வழிக்கும், The seventeenth to Joshbekashah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

25 பதினெட்டாவது ஆனானி, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டுபேர் பேர்வழிக்கும், The eighteenth to Hanani, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

26 பத்தொன்பதாவது, மலோத்தி, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டுபேர் பேர்வழிக்கும், The nineteenth to Mallothi, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

27 ருபதாவது எலியாத்தா, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டுபேர் பேர்வழிக்கும், The twentieth to Eliathah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

29 இருபத்திரண்டாவது கிதல்தி, அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டுபேர் பேர்வழிக்கும், The two and twentieth to Giddalti, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

30 இருபத்துமூன்றாவது மகாசியோத், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டுபேர் பேர்வழிக்கும், The three and twentieth to Mahazioth, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

31 இருபத்துநான்காவது ரொமந்தியேசர், அவன் குமாரர், அவன் சகோதரரென்னும் பன்னிரண்டுபேர் பேர்வழிக்கும் விழுந்தது. The four and twentieth to Romamtiezer, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve.

1 Maelum suramanndalangalaalum thampurukalaalum kaiththaalangalaalum, theerkkatharisanam sollukira aasaap, aemaan, ethuththoon enpavarkalin kumaararil silarai, Davidm thaevaalayach senaikalin pirapukkalum ooliyaththirkentu piriththuvaiththaarkal; thangal ooliyaththin kiriyaikkuk kuriththuvaikkappatta manusharkalin thokaiyaavathu: Moreover David and the captains of the host separated to the service of the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who should prophesy with harps, with psalteries, and with cymbals: and the number of the workmen according to their service was:

2 Raajaavutaiya kattalaippiramaanamaayth theerkkatharisanam sollukira aasaappin vasaththilirukkira, aasaappin kumaararil sakkoor, yoseppu, nethaaniyaa, ashaaraelaa enpavarkalum, Of the sons of Asaph; Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asarelah, the sons of Asaph under the hands of Asaph, which prophesied according to the order of the king.

3 Karththaraip pottith thuthiththuth theerkkatharisanam sollukira thangal thakappanaakiya ethuththoonin vasaththilae suramanndalangalai vaasikka, ethuththoonin kumaararaakiya kethaliyaa, seree, eshaayaa, ashapiyaa, maththiththiyaa ennum aaraுpaerum, Of Jeduthun: the sons of Jeduthun; Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Jeshaiah, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied with a harp, to give thanks and to praise the LORD.

4 Kompaith thonikkappannna, thaevavishayaththil raajaavukku njaanathirushtikkaaranaakiya aemaanin kumaarar pukkiyaa, maththaniyaa, oosiyael, sepuvael, erimoth, ananiyaa, anaani, eliyaaththaa, kithalthi, romanthiyaesar, yospekaashaa, maloththi, oththir, makaasiyoth enpavarkalumae. Of Heman: the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth:

5 Ivarkalellaarum aemaanin kumaararaayirunthaarkal; Dhevan aemaanukkup pathinaalu kumaararaiyum moontu kumaaraththikalaiyum koduththaar. All these were the sons of Heman the king's seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 Ivarkal anaivarum raajaavutaiya kattalaippiramaanamaayk karththarutaiya aalayaththil thaalangal thampurukal suramanndalangalaakiya geethavaaththiyam vaasikka, thaevanutaiya aalayaththin ooliyamaaka avaravar thangal thangal thakappanmaaraakiya aasaap ethuththoon, aemaan enpavarkal vasaththil irunthaarkal. All these were under the hands of their father for song in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, psalteries, and harps, for the service of the house of God, according to the king's order to Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman.

7 Karththaraip paadum paattukalaik kattaுkkonndu, nipunaraana thangal sakothararodungaூda avarkal ilakkaththirku irunoottennpaththettuppaeraayirunthaarkal. So the number of them, with their brethren that were instructed in the songs of the LORD, even all that were cunning, was two hundred fourscore and eight.

8 Avarkalil siriyavanum periyavanum, aasaanum maannaakkanum, sarisamaanamaay muraivarisaikkaakach seettuppottukkonndaarkal. And they cast lots, ward against ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar.

9 Muthalaavathu seettu aasaap vamsamaana yoseppin paervalikkum, iranndaavathu kethaliyaa, avan sakotharar, avan kumaararennum panniranndu paervalikkum, Now the first lot came forth for Asaph to Joseph: the second to Gedaliah, who with his brethren and sons were twelve:

10 Moontavathu sakkoor, avan kumaarar, avan sakothararennum panniranndupaer valikkum, The third to Zaccur, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

11 Naankaavathu isri, avan kumaarar, avan sakothararennum panniranndupaer valikkum, The fourth to Izri, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

12 Ainthaavathu neththaniyaa, avan kumaarar, avan sakothararennum panniranndu paervalikkum, The fifth to Nethaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

13 Aaraavathu pukkiyaa, avan kumaarar, avan sakothararennum panniranndu paervalikkum, The sixth to Bukkiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

14 Aelaavathu esaraelo, avan kumaarar, avan sakothararennum panniranndupaervalikkum, The seventh to Jesharelah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

15 Ettavathu eshaayaa, avan kumaarar, avan sakothararennum panniranndu paervalikkum, The eighth to Jeshaiah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:

16 Onpathaavathu maththaneeyaa, avan kumaarar, avan sakotharar panniranndu paervalikkum, The ninth to Mattaniah, he, his sons, and his brethren, were twelve:
