1 Corinthians 13 in Tamil

1 நான் மனுஷர் பாஷைகளையும் தூதர்பாஷைகளையும் பேசினாலும், அன்பு எனக்கிராவிட்டால், சத்தமிடுகிற வெண்கலம்போலவும், ஓசையிடுகிற கைத்தாளம்போலவும் இருப்பேன். Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 நான் தீர்க்கதரிசன வரத்தை உடையவனாயிருந்து, சகல இரகசியங்களையும், சகல அறிவையும் அறிந்தாலும், மலைகளைப் பேர்க்கத்தக்கதாக சகல விசுவாசமுள்ளவனாயிருந்தாலும், அன்பு எனக்கிராவிட்டால் நான் ஒன்றுமில்லை. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 எனக்கு உண்டான யாவற்றையும் நான் அன்னதானம்பண்ணினாலும், என் சரீரத்தைச் சுட்டெரிக்கப்படுவதற்குக் கொடுத்தாலும், அன்பு எனக்கிராட்டால் எனக்குப் பிரயோஜனம் ஒன்றுமில்லை. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 அன்பு நீடிய சாந்தமும் தயவுமுள்ளது; அன்புக்குப் பொறாமையில்லை; அன்பு தன்னைப் புகழாது, இறுமாப்பாயிராது, Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 அயோக்கியமானதைச் செய்யாது, தற்பொழிவை நாடாது, சினமடையாது, தீங்கு நினையாது, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 அநியாயத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படாமல், சத்தியத்தில் சந்தோஷப்படும். Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 சகலத்தையும் தாங்கும், சகலத்தையும் விசுவாசிக்கும், சகலத்தையும் நம்பும், சகலத்தையும் சகிக்கும். Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 அன்பு ஒருக்காலும் ஒழியாது. தீர்க்கதரிசனங்களானாலும் ஒழிந்துபோம், அந்நிய பாஷைகளானாலும் ஓய்ந்துபோம், அறிவானாலும் ஒழிந்துபோம். Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 நம்முடைய அறிவு குறைவுள்ளது, நாம் தீர்க்கதரிசனஞ் சொல்லுதலும் குறைவுள்ளது. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 நிறைவானது வரும்போது குறைவானது ஒழிந்துபோம். But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 நான் குழந்தையாயிருந்தபோது குழந்தையைப்போலப் பேசினேன், குழந்தையைப்போலச் சிந்தித்தேன், குழந்தையைப்போல யோசித்தேன்; நான் புருஷனானபோதோ குழந்தைக்கேற்றவைகளை ஒழித்துவிட்டேன். When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 இப்பொழுது கண்ணாடியிலே நிழலாட்டமாய்ப் பார்க்கிறோம், அப்பொழுது முகமுகமாய்ப் பார்ப்போம்; இப்பொழுது நான் குறைந்த அறிவுள்ளவன், அப்பொழுது நான் அறியப்பட்டிருக்கிறபடியே, அறிந்துகொள்ளுவேன். For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

13 இப்பொழுது விசுவாசம், நம்பிக்கை, அன்பு இம்மூன்றும் நிலைத்திருக்கிறது; இவைகளில் அன்பே பெரியது. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

1 Naan manushar paashaikalaiyum thootharpaashaikalaiyum paesinaalum, anpu enakkiraavittal, saththamidukira vennkalampolavum, osaiyidukira kaiththaalampolavum iruppaen. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 Naan theerkkatharisana varaththai utaiyavanaayirunthu, sakala irakasiyangalaiyum, sakala arivaiyum arinthaalum, malaikalaip paerkkaththakkathaaka sakala visuvaasamullavanaayirunthaalum, anpu enakkiraavittal naan ontumillai. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 Enakku unndaana yaavattaைyum naan annathaanampannnninaalum, en sareeraththaich sutterikkappaduvatharkuk koduththaalum, anpu enakkiraattal enakkup pirayojanam ontumillai. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 Anpu neetiya saanthamum thayavumullathu; anpukkup poraamaiyillai; anpu thannaip pukalaathu, iraுmaappaayiraathu, Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Ayokkiyamaanathaich seyyaathu, tharpolivai naadaathu, sinamataiyaathu, theengu ninaiyaathu, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Aniyaayaththil santhoshappadaamal, saththiyaththil santhoshappadum. Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Sakalaththaiyum thaangum, sakalaththaiyum visuvaasikkum, sakalaththaiyum nampum, sakalaththaiyum sakikkum. Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 Anpu orukkaalum oliyaathu. Theerkkatharisanangalaanaalum olinthupom, anniya paashaikalaanaalum oynthupom, arivaanaalum olinthupom. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 Nammutaiya arivu kuraivullathu, naam theerkkatharisananj solluthalum kuraivullathu. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 Niraivaanathu varumpothu kuraivaanathu olinthupom. But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

11 Naan kulanthaiyaayirunthapothu kulanthaiyaippolap paesinaen, kulanthaiyaippolach sinthiththaen, kulanthaiyaippola yosiththaen; naan purushanaanapotho kulanthaikkaettavaikalai oliththuvittaேn. When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

12 Ippoluthu kannnnaatiyilae nilalaattamaayp paarkkirom, appoluthu mukamukamaayp paarppom; ippoluthu naan kuraintha arivullavan, appoluthu naan ariyappattirukkirapatiyae, arinthukolluvaen. 13 Ippoluthu visuvaasam, nampikkai, anpu immoontum nilaiththirukkirathu; ivaikalil anpae periyathu. And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.
