அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் தகப்பன்: அவன் எந்த வழி போனான் என்று அவர்களைக் கேட்டான். யூதாவிலிருந்து வந்த தேவனுடைய மனுஷன் போனவழி இன்னதென்று அவன் குமாரர் பார்த்திருந்தபடியால்,

அதற்கு அந்த முதிய தீர்க்கதரிசி, “அவன் எந்தச் சாலை வழியாகத் திரும்பிப் போனான்?” என்று கேட்டான். அவர்களும் அந்தச் சாலையைச் சுட்டிக்காட்டினார்கள்.

he? For his sons	בָנָ֗יו	bēn	bane
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
way	הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙	derek	deh-REK
what	אֲשֶׁ֤ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
went,	הָלַךְ֙	hālak	ha-LAHK
the man	אִ֣ישׁ	ʾîš	eesh
