கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்து, சீக்கிரமாய் இவ்விடம் விட்டு, இறங்கிப்போ; நீ எகிப்திலிருந்து அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்த உன் ஜனங்கள் தங்களைக் கெடுத்துக்கொண்டார்கள்; நான் அவர்களுக்கு விதித்த வழியை அவர்கள் சீக்கிரமாக விட்டு விலகி, வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட விக்கிரகத்தைத் தங்களுக்காக உண்டாக்கினார்கள் என்றார்.

கர்த்தர் என்னை நோக்கி: நீ எழுந்து, சீக்கிரமாக இந்த இடத்தைவிட்டு, இறங்கிப்போ; நீ எகிப்திலிருந்து அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்த உன்னுடைய மக்கள் தங்களைக் கெடுத்துக்கொண்டார்கள்; நான் அவர்களுக்கு விதித்த வழியை அவர்கள் சீக்கிரமாக விட்டுவிலகி, வார்ப்பிக்கப்பட்ட சிலையைத் தங்களுக்காக உண்டாக்கினார்கள் என்றார்.

பின் கர்த்தர் என்னிடம், ‘நீ எழுந்து இங்கிருந்து விரைவாக இறங்கிப்போ.. நீ எகிப்திலிருந்து அழைத்துவந்த ஜனங்கள் தங்களைத் தாங்களே கெடுத்துக்கொண்டார்கள், என்னுடைய கட்டளைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதை இவ்வளவு விரைவாக நிறுத்திவிட்டார்கள். அவர்கள் பொன்னை வார்த்து தங்களுக்கென்று ஒரு விக்கிரகத்தை உருவாக்கினார்கள்’ என்று கூறினார்.

அப்பொழுது ஆண்டவர் என்னிடம், ‘எழுந்து, இங்கிருந்து விரைந்து இறங்கிச் செல். ஏனெனில், நீ எகிப்திலிருந்து அழைத்துவந்த உன் மக்கள் சீரழிந்து விட்டனர். நான் அவர்களுக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டிருந்த வழியிலிருந்து விரைவில் விலகிவிட்டனர். வார்ப்புச்சிலை ஒன்றை அவர்களுக்கெனச் செய்து கொண்டனர்’ என்றார்.⒫

have corrupted שִׁחֵ֣ת šāḥat sha-HAHT
thy people עַמְּךָ֔ ʿam am
which אֲשֶׁ֥ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
thou hast brought forth הוֹצֵ֖אתָ yāṣāʾ ya-TSA
out of Egypt מִמִּצְרָ֑יִם miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
turned aside סָ֣רוּ sûr soor
they are quickly מַהֵ֗ר mahēr ma-HARE
out of מִן min meen
the way הַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ derek deh-REK
which אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
I commanded צִוִּיתִ֔ם ṣāwâ tsa-VA
them; they have made עָשׂ֥וּ ʿāśâ ah-SA
