Exodus 22 in Tamil

1 ஒருவன் ஒரு மாட்டையாவது ஒரு ஆட்டையாவது திருடி, அதைக் கொன்றால், அல்லது அதை விற்றால், அவன் அந்த மாட்டுக்கு ஐந்து மாடுகளையும், அந்த ஆட்டுக்கு நாலு ஆடுகளையும் பதிலாகக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன். If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

2 திருடன் கன்னமிடுகையில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டு, அடிக்கப்பட்டுச் செத்தால், அவன் நிமித்தம் இரத்தப்பழி சுமராது. If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.

3 சூரியன் அவன்மேல் உதித்திருந்ததானால், அவன் நிமித்தம் இரத்தப்பழி சுமரும்; திருடன் பதில் கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்கவேண்டும்; அவன் கையில் ஒன்றும் இல்லாதிருந்தால், தான் செய்த களவுக்காக விலைப்படக்கடவன். If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft.

4 அவன் திருடின மாடாவது கழுதையாவது ஆடாவது உயிருடனே அவன் கையில் கண்டுபிடிக்கப்பட்டால், இரட்டிப்பாய் அவன் கொடுக்கவேண்டும். If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

5 ஒருவன் பிறனுடைய வயலிலாவது திராட்சத்தோட்டத்திலாவது தன் மிருகஜீவனை மேயவிட்டால், அவன் தன் சுயவயலிலும் திராட்சத்தோட்டத்திலுமுள்ள பலனில் உத்தமமானதை எடுத்து, பதில் செலுத்தக்கடவன். If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man's field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.

6 அக்கினி எழும்பி, முள்ளுக்களில் பற்றி, தானியப்போரையாவது, விளைந்த பயிரையாவது, வயலிலுள்ள வேறே எதையாவது எரித்துப்போட்டதேயானால், அக்கினியைக் கொளுத்தினவன் அக்கினிச் சேதத்திற்கு உத்தரவாதம் பண்ணவேண்டும். If fire break out, and catch in thorns, so that the stacks of corn, or the standing corn, or the field, be consumed therewith; he that kindled the fire shall surely make restitution.

7 ஒருவன் பிறனுடைய வசத்தில் திரவியத்தையாவது, உடைமைகளையாவது அடைக்கலமாக வைத்திருக்கும்போது, அது அவன் வீட்டிலிருந்து திருடப்பட்டுப்போனால், திருடன் அகப்பட்டானாகில், அவன் அதற்கு இரட்டிப்பாகக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும். If a man shall deliver unto his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.

8 திருடன் அகப்படாதேபோனால், அந்த வீட்டுக்காரன் தானே பிறனுடைய பொருளை அபகரித்தானோ இல்லையோ என்று அறியும்படி நியாயாதிபதிகளிடத்தில் அவனைக் கொண்டுபோக வேண்டும். If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbor's goods.

9 காணாமற்போன மாடு, கழுதை, ஆடு, வஸ்திரம் முதலியவைகளில் யாதொன்றைப் பிறனொருவன் தன்னுடையது என்று சொல்லி குற்றஞ்சாற்றினால், இருதிறத்தாருடைய வழக்கும் நியாயாதிபதிகளிடத்தில் வரக்கடவது; நியாயாதிபதிகள் எவனைக் குற்றவாளி என்று தீர்க்கிறார்களோ, அவன் மற்றவனுக்கு இரட்டிப்பாகக் கொடுக்கக்கடவன். For all manner of trespass, whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing which another challengeth to be his, the cause of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbor.

10 ஒருவன் தன் கழுதையையாவது மாட்டையாவது ஆட்டையாவது மற்ற யாதொரு மிருகஜீவனையாவது பிறன் வசத்தில் விட்டிருக்கும்போது அது செத்தாலும், சேதப்பட்டுப்போனாலும், ஒருவரும் காணாதபடி ஓட்டிக்கொண்டு போகப்பட்டாலும், If a man deliver unto his neighbor an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:

11 அவன் தான் பிறனுடைய பொருளை அபகரிக்கவில்லையென்று கர்த்தர் பேரில் இடும் ஆணை அவர்கள் இருவருக்கும் நடுத்தீர்க்கக்கடவது; உடையவன் அதை அங்கீகரிக்கவேண்டும்; மற்றவன் பதிலளிக்கவேண்டுவதில்லை. Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbor's goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.

12 அது அவன் வசத்திலிருந்து திருடப்பட்டுப்போயிற்றானால், அவன் அதின் எஜமானுக்கு அதற்காக உத்தரவாதம் பண்ணக்கடவன். And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.

13 அது பீறுண்டுபோயிற்றானால், அதற்குச் சாட்சியை ஒப்புவிக்கவேண்டும். பீறுண்டதற்காக அவன் உத்தரவாதம் பண்ணவேண்டுவதில்லை. If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.

14 ஒருவன் பிறனிடத்தில் எதையாகிலும் இரவலாக வாங்கினதுண்டானால், அதற்கு உடையவன்கூட இராதபோது, அது சேதப்பட்டாலும், செத்துப்போனாலும், அவன் அதற்கு உத்தரவாதம் பண்ணவேண்டும். And if a man borrow ought of his neighbor, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.

15 அதற்கு உடையவன்கூட இருந்தானாகில், அவன் உத்தரவாதம் பண்ணவேண்டுவதில்லை; அது வாடகைக்கு வாங்கப்பட்டிருந்தால், அது அவன் வாடகைக்கு வந்த சேதம். But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.

16 நியமிக்கப்படாத ஒரு கன்னிகையை ஒருவன் மோசம்போக்கி அவளோடே சயனித்தால், அவன் அவளுக்காகப் பரிசம்கொடுத்து, அவளை விவாகம்பண்ணக்கடவன். And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.

17 அவள் தகப்பன் அவளை அவனுக்குக் கொடுக்கமாட்டேன் என்றானாகில், கன்னிகைகளுக்காகக் கொடுக்கப்படும் பரிச முறைமையின்படி அவன் பணத்தை நிறுத்துக் கொடுக்கவேண்டும். If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

18 சூனியக்காரியை உயிரோடே வைக்க வேண்டாம். Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

19 மிருகத்தோடே புணருகிறவன் எவனும் கொல்லப்படவேண்டும். Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.

20 கர்த்தர் ஒருவருக்கே ஒழிய வேறே தேவர்களுக்குப் பலியிடுகிறவன் சங்கரிக்கப்படக்கடவன். He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

21 அந்நியனைச் சிறுமைப்படுத்தாமலும் ஒடுக்காமலும் இருப்பீர்களாக; நீங்களும் எகிப்து தேசத்தில் அந்நியர்களாயிருந்தீர்களே. Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

22 விதவையையும் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளையையும் ஒடுக்காமல் இருப்பீர்களாக; Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

23 அவர்களை எவ்வளவாகிலும் ஒடுக்கும்போது, அவர்கள் என்னை நோக்கி முறையிட்டால், அவர்கள் முறையிடுதலை நான் நிச்சயமாய்க் கேட்டு, If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

24 கோபம்மூண்டவராகி, உங்களைப் பட்டயத்தினால் கொலைசெய்வேன்; உங்கள் மனைவிகள் விதவைகளும், உங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் திக்கற்ற பிள்ளைகளுமாவார்கள். And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

25 உங்களுக்குள் சிறுமைப்பட்டிருக்கிற என் ஜனங்களில் ஒருவனுக்கு நீங்கள் பணம் கடனாகக் கொடுத்திருந்தால், வட்டிவாங்குகிறவர்கள்போல அவனிடத்தில் வட்டி வாங்கவேண்டாம். If thou lend money to any of my people that is poor by thee, thou shalt not be to him as an usurer, neither shalt thou lay upon him usury.

26 பிறனுடைய வஸ்திரத்தை ஈடாக வாங்கினால், பொழுதுபோகுமுன்னமே அதை அவனுக்குத் திரும்பக் கொடுத்து விடுவாயாக. If thou at all take thy neighbor's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:

27 அவன் போர்வை அதுதானே, அதுவே அவன் தன் உடம்பை மூடிக்கொள்ளுகிற வஸ்திரம்; வேறு எதினாலே போர்த்துப் படுத்துக்கொள்ளுவான்? அவன் என்னை நோக்கி முறையிடும்போது, நான் அவனுக்குச் செவிகொடுப்பேன், நான் இரக்கமுள்ளவராயிருக்கிறேன். For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

28 நியாயாதிபதிகளைத் தூஷியாமலும், உன் ஜனத்தின் அதிபதியைச் சபியாமலும் இருப்பாயாக. Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.

29 முதல் முதல் பழுக்கும் உன் பழத்தையும், வடியும் உன் இரசத்தையும் காணிக்கையாகச் செலுத்தத் தாமதிக்க வேண்டாம். உன் குமாரரில் முதற்பேறானவனை எனக்குக் கொடுப்பாயாக. Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.

30 உன் மாடுகளிலும் உன் ஆடுகளிலும் அப்படியே செய்வாயாக; குட்டியானது ஏழுநாள் தன் தாயோடே இருக்கட்டும், எட்டாம் நாளிலே அதை எனக்குச் செலுத்துவாயாக. Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.

31 நீங்கள் எனக்குப் பரிசுத்த மனுஷராயிருக்கக்கடவீர்கள்; வெளியிலே பீறுண்ட மாம்சத்தைப் புசியாமல், அதை நாய்களுக்குப் போட்டுவிடுங்கள். And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.

1 Oruvan oru maattaைyaavathu oru aattaைyaavathu thiruti, athaik kontal, allathu athai vittaாl, avan antha maattukku ainthu maadukalaiyum, antha aattukku naalu aadukalaiyum pathilaakak kodukkakkadavan. If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep.

2 Thirudan kannamidukaiyil kanndupitikkappattu, atikkappattuch seththaal, avan nimiththam iraththappali sumaraathu. If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.

3 Sooriyan avanmael uthiththirunthathaanaal, avan nimiththam iraththappali sumarum; thirudan pathil koduththuth theerkkavaenndum; avan kaiyil ontum illaathirunthaal, thaan seytha kalavukkaaka vilaippadakkadavan. 4 Avan thirutina maadaavathu kaluthaiyaavathu aadaavathu uyirudanae avan kaiyil kanndupitikkappattal, irattippaay avan kodukkavaenndum. If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double.

5 Oruvan piranutaiya vayalilaavathu thiraatchaththottaththilaavathu than mirukajeevanai maeyavittal, avan than suyavayalilum thiraatchaththottaththilumulla palanil uththamamaanathai eduththu, pathil seluththakkadavan. If a man shall cause a field or vineyard to be eaten, and shall put in his beast, and shall feed in another man's field; of the best of his own field, and of the best of his own vineyard, shall he make restitution.

6 Akkini elumpi, mullukkalil patti, thaaniyapporaiyaavathu, vilaintha payiraiyaavathu, vayalilulla vaeraே ethaiyaavathu eriththuppottathaeyaanaal, akkiniyaik koluththinavan akkinich sethaththirku uththaravaatham pannnavaenndum. 7 Oruvan piranutaiya vasaththil thiraviyaththaiyaavathu, utaimaikalaiyaavathu ataikkalamaaka vaiththirukkumpothu, athu avan veettilirunthu thirudappattupponaal, thirudan akappattanaakil, avan atharku irattippaakak kodukkavaenndum. If a man shall deliver unto his neighbor money or stuff to keep, and it be stolen out of the man's house; if the thief be found, let him pay double.

8 Thirudan akappadaathaeponaal, antha veettukkaaran thaanae piranutaiya porulai apakariththaano illaiyo entu ariyumpati niyaayaathipathikalidaththil avanaik konndupoka vaenndum. If the thief be not found, then the master of the house shall be brought unto the judges, to see whether he have put his hand unto his neighbor's goods.

9 Kaannaamarpona maadu, kaluthai, aadu, vasthiram muthaliyavaikalil yaathontaip piranoruvan thannutaiyathu entu solli kuttanjaattinaal, iruthiraththaarutaiya valakkum niyaayaathipathikalidaththil varakkadavathu; niyaayaathipathikal evanaik kuttavaali entu theerkkiraarkalo, avan mattavanukku irattippaakak kodukkakkadavan. 10 Oruvan than kaluthaiyaiyaavathu maattaைyaavathu aattaைyaavathu matta yaathoru mirukajeevanaiyaavathu piran vasaththil vittirukkumpothu athu seththaalum, sethappattupponaalum, oruvarum kaannaathapati ottikkonndu pokappattalum, If a man deliver unto his neighbor an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:

11 Avan thaan piranutaiya porulai apakarikkavillaiyentu Karththar paeril idum aannai avarkal iruvarukkum naduththeerkkakkadavathu; utaiyavan athai angaீkarikkavaenndum; mattavan pathilalikkavaennduvathillai. Then shall an oath of the LORD be between them both, that he hath not put his hand unto his neighbor's goods; and the owner of it shall accept thereof, and he shall not make it good.

12 Athu avan vasaththilirunthu thirudappattuppoyittaாnaal, avan athin ejamaanukku atharkaaka uththaravaatham pannnakkadavan. And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.

13 Athu peeraுnndupoyittaாnaal, atharkuch saatchiyai oppuvikkavaenndum. Peeraுnndatharkaaka avan uththaravaatham pannnavaennduvathillai. If it be torn in pieces, then let him bring it for witness, and he shall not make good that which was torn.

14 Oruvan piranidaththil ethaiyaakilum iravalaaka vaanginathunndaanaal, atharku utaiyavankooda iraathapothu, athu sethappattalum, seththupponaalum, avan atharku uththaravaatham pannnavaenndum. And if a man borrow ought of his neighbor, and it be hurt, or die, the owner thereof being not with it, he shall surely make it good.

15 Atharku utaiyavankooda irunthaanaakil, avan uththaravaatham pannnavaennduvathillai; athu vaadakaikku vaangappattirunthaal, athu avan vaadakaikku vantha setham. But if the owner thereof be with it, he shall not make it good: if it be an hired thing, it came for his hire.

16 Niyamikkappadaatha oru kannikaiyai oruvan mosampokki avalotae sayaniththaal, avan avalukkaakap parisamkoduththu, avalai vivaakampannnakkadavan. And if a man entice a maid that is not betrothed, and lie with her, he shall surely endow her to be his wife.

17 Aval thakappan avalai avanukkuk kodukkamaattaேn entanaakil, kannikaikalukkaakak kodukkappadum parisa muraimaiyinpati avan panaththai niraுththuk kodukkavaenndum. If her father utterly refuse to give her unto him, he shall pay money according to the dowry of virgins.

18 Sooniyakkaariyai uyirotae vaikka vaenndaam. Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

19 Mirukaththotae punarukiravan evanum kollappadavaenndum. Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.

20 Karththar oruvarukkae oliya vaeraே thaevarkalukkup paliyidukiravan sangarikkappadakkadavan. He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto the LORD only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

21 Anniyanaich siraுmaippaduththaamalum odukkaamalum iruppeerkalaaka; neengalum ekipthu thaesaththil anniyarkalaayiruntheerkalae. Thou shalt neither vex a stranger, nor oppress him: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.

22 Vithavaiyaiyum thikkatta pillaiyaiyum odukkaamal iruppeerkalaaka; Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

23 Avarkalai evvalavaakilum odukkumpothu, avarkal ennai Nnokki muraiyittal, avarkal muraiyiduthalai naan nichchayamaayk kaettu, If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

24 Kopammoonndavaraaki, ungalaip pattayaththinaal kolaiseyvaen; ungal manaivikal vithavaikalum, ungal pillaikal thikkatta pillaikalumaavaarkal. And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

25 Ungalukkul siraுmaippattirukkira en janangalil oruvanukku neengal panam kadanaakak koduththirunthaal, vattivaangukiravarkalpola avanidaththil vatti vaangavaenndaam. 26 Piranutaiya vasthiraththai eedaaka vaanginaal, poluthupokumunnamae athai avanukkuth thirumpak koduththu viduvaayaaka. If thou at all take thy neighbor's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it unto him by that the sun goeth down:

27 Avan porvai athuthaanae, athuvae avan than udampai mootikkollukira vasthiram; vaeraு ethinaalae porththup paduththukkolluvaan? Avan ennai Nnokki muraiyidumpothu, naan avanukkuch sevikoduppaen, naan irakkamullavaraayirukkiraேn. For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his skin: wherein shall he sleep? and it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious.

28 Niyaayaathipathikalaith thooshiyaamalum, un janaththin athipathiyaich sapiyaamalum iruppaayaaka. Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people.

29 Muthal muthal palukkum un palaththaiyum, vatiyum un irasaththaiyum kaannikkaiyaakach seluththath thaamathikka vaenndaam. Un kumaararil mutharpaeraanavanai enakkuk koduppaayaaka. 30 Un maadukalilum un aadukalilum appatiyae seyvaayaaka; kuttiyaanathu aelunaal than thaayotae irukkattum, ettam naalilae athai enakkuch seluththuvaayaaka. Likewise shalt thou do with thine oxen, and with thy sheep: seven days it shall be with his dam; on the eighth day thou shalt give it me.

31 Neengal enakkup Parisuththa manusharaayirukkakkadaveerkal; veliyilae peeraுnnda maamsaththaip pusiyaamal, athai naaykalukkup pottuvidungal. And ye shall be holy men unto me: neither shall ye eat any flesh that is torn of beasts in the field; ye shall cast it to the dogs.
