Ezekiel 33 in Tamil

1 கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரரோடே பேசி, அவர்களோடே சொல்லவேண்டியதாவது: நான் தேசத்தின்மேல் பட்டயத்தை வரப்பண்ணுகையில் தேசத்தின் ஜனம் தங்கள் எல்லைகளிலுள்ள ஒருவனை அழைத்து, அவனைத் தங்களுக்குக் காவற்காரனாக வைத்தபின்பு, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

3 இவன் தேசத்தின்மேல் பட்டயம் வருவதைக்கண்டு, எக்காளம் ஊதி, ஜனத்தை எச்சரிக்கும்போது, If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

4 எக்காளத்தின் சத்தத்தக் கேட்கிறவன் அதைக் கேட்டும், எச்சரிக்கையாயிராமல், பட்டயம் வந்து அவனை வாரிக்கொள்ளுகிறது உண்டானால், அவனுடைய இரத்தப்பழி அவன் தலையின்மேல் சுமரும். Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 அவன் எக்காளத்தின் சத்தத்தைக்கேட்டும், எச்சரிக்கையிருக்கவில்லை; அவனுடைய இரத்தப்பழி அவன்பேரிலே சுமரும்; எச்சரிக்கையாயிருக்கிறவனோ தன் ஜீவனைத் தப்புவித்துக்கொள்ளுவான். He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

6 காவற்காரன் பட்டயம் வருவதைக் கண்டும், அவன் எக்காளம் ஊதாமலும் ஜனங்கள் எச்சரிக்கப்படாமலும், பட்டயம் வந்து அவர்களில் யாதொருவனை வாரிக்கொள்ளுகிறது உண்டானால், அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே வாரிக்கொள்ளப்பட்டான்; ஆனாலும் அவன் இரத்தப்பழியைக் காவற்காரன் கையிலே கேட்பேன். But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

7 மனுபுத்திரனே, நான் உன்னை இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாருக்குக் காவற்காரனாக வைத்தேன்; ஆகையால் நீ என் வாயினாலே வார்த்தையைக்கேட்டு, என் நாமத்தினாலே அவர்களை எச்சரிப்பாயாக. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

8 நான் துன்மார்க்கனை நோக்கி: துன்மார்க்கனே, நீ சாகவே சாவாயென்று சொல்லுகையில், நீ துன்மார்க்கனைத் தன் துன்மார்க்கத்திலிராதபடி எச்சரிக்கத்தக்கதாக அதை அவனுக்குச் சொல்லாமற்போனால், அந்தத் துன்மார்க்கன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே சாவான்; ஆனாலும் அவன் இரத்தப்பழியை உன் கையிலே கேட்பேன். When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

9 துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பும்படி நீ அவனை எச்சரித்தும் அவன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பாமற்போனால், அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்திலே சாவான்; நீயோ உன் ஆத்துமாவைத் தப்புவிப்பாய். Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

10 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரை நோக்கி: எங்கள் துரோகங்களும் எங்கள் பாவங்களும் எங்கள்மேல் இருக்கிறது, நாங்கள் சோர்ந்துபோகிறோம், தாங்கள் பிழைப்பது எப்படியென்று நீங்கள் சொல்லுகிறீர்கள். Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

11 கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறது என்னவென்றால் நான் துன்மார்க்கனுடைய மரணத்தை விரும்பாமல், துன்மார்க்கன் தன் வழியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பிப் பிழைப்பதையே விரும்புகிறேன் என்று என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன்; இஸ்ரவேல் வம்சத்தாரே, உங்கள் பொல்லாத வழிகளைவிட்டுத் திரும்புங்கள், திரும்புங்கள்; நீங்கள் ஏன் சாகவேண்டும் என்கிறார் என்று அவர்களோடே சொல்லு. Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

12 மனுபுத்திரனே, நீ உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரரை நோக்கி: நீதிமான் துரோகம்பண்ணுகிற நாளிலே அவனுடைய நீதி அவனைத் தப்புவிப்பதில்லை; துன்மார்க்கன் தன் துன்மார்க்கத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்புகிற நாளிலே அவன் தன் அக்கிரமத்தினால் விழுந்துபோவதுமில்லை; நீதிமான் பாவஞ்செய்கிற நாளிலே தன் நீதியினால் பிழைப்பதுமில்லை. Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

13 பிழைக்கவே பிழைப்பாய் என்று நான் நீதிமானுக்குச் சொல்லும்போது, அவன் தன் நீதியை நம்பி, அநியாயஞ்செய்தால், அவனுடைய நீதியில் ஒன்றும் நினைக்கப்படுவதில்லை, அவன் செய்த தன் அநியாயத்திலே சாவான். When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

14 பின்னும் சாகவே சாவாய் என்று நான் துன்மார்க்கனுக்குச் சொல்லும்போது, அவன் தன் பாவத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்பி, நியாயமும் நீதியுஞ்செய்து, Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

15 துன்மார்க்கன் தான் வாங்கின அடைமானத்தையும் தான் கொள்ளையிட்ட பொருளையும் திரும்பக்கொடுத்துவிட்டு, அநியாயம் செய்யாதபடி ஜீவப்பிரமாணங்களில் நடந்தால், அவன் சாகாமல் பிழைக்கவே பிழைப்பான். If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

16 அவன் செய்த அவனுடைய எல்லாப் பாவங்களும் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக நினைக்கப்படுவதில்லை; அவன் நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்தான், பிழைக்கவே பிழைப்பான் என்று சொல்லு. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

17 உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரரோ, ஆண்டவருடைய வழி செம்மையானதல்ல என்கிறார்கள்; அவர்களுடைய வழியே செம்மையானதல்ல. Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

18 நீதிமான் தன் நீதியைவிட்டுத் திரும்பி, அநியாயஞ்செய்தால், அவன் அதினால் சாவான். When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

19 துன்மார்க்கன் தன் அக்கிரமத்தைவிட்டுத் திரும்பி, நியாயமும் நீதியும் செய்தால், அவன் அவைகளினால் பிழைப்பான். But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

20 நீங்களோ, ஆண்டவருடைய வழி செம்மையானதல்ல என்கிறீர்கள், இஸ்ரவேல் வீட்டாரே நான் உங்களில் ஒவ்வொருவனையும் அவனவன் வழிகளின்படியே நியாயந்தீர்ப்பேனென்று சொல் என்றார். Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

21 எங்கள் சிறையிருப்பின் பன்னிரண்டாம் வருஷம் பத்தாம் மாதம் ஐந்தாந்தேதியிலே எருசலேமிலிருந்து தப்பின ஒருவன் என்னிடத்தில் வந்து: நகரம் அழிக்கப்பட்டது என்றான். And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

22 தப்பினவன் வருகிறதற்கு முந்தின சாயங்காலத்திலே கர்த்தருடைய கை என்மேல் அமர்ந்து, அவன் காலையில் என்னிடத்தில் வருமட்டும் என் வாயைத் திறந்திருக்கப்பண்ணிற்று; என் வாய் திறக்கப்பட்டது, பின்பு நான் மெளனமாயிருக்கவில்லை. Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

23 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தருடைய வார்த்தை எனக்கு உண்டாகி, அவர்: Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

24 மனுபுத்திரனே, இஸ்ரவேல் தேசத்தின் பாழான இடங்களிலுள்ள குடிகள்: ஆபிரகாம் ஒருவனாயிருந்து, தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொண்டான்; நாங்கள் அநேகராயிருக்கிறோம், எங்களுக்கு இந்த தேசம் சுதந்தரமாகக் கொடுக்கப்பட்டது என்று சொல்லுகிறார்கள். Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

25 ஆகையால், நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: நீங்கள் இரத்தத்தோடே கூடியதைத் தின்று, உங்கள் நரகலான விக்கிரகங்களுக்கு நேராக உங்கள் கண்களை ஏறெடுத்து, இரத்தத்தைச் சிந்தியிருக்கிறீர்கள், நீங்கள் தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வீர்களோ? Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

26 நீங்கள் உங்கள் பட்டயத்தை நம்பிக்கொண்டு, அருவருப்பானதைச் செய்து, உங்களில் அவனவன் தன்தன் அயலான் மனைவியைத் தீட்டுப்படுத்துகிறீர்கள்; நீங்கள் தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரித்துக்கொள்வீர்களோ என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லு. Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall ye possess the land?

27 நீ அவர்களை நோக்கி: பாழான இடங்களில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் பட்டயத்தால் விழுவார்கள்; வெளிகளில் இருக்கிறவனை மிருகங்களுக்கு இரையாக ஒப்புக்கொடுப்பேன்; கோட்டைகளிலும் கெபிகளிலும் இருக்கிறவர்கள் கொள்ளைநோயால் சாவார்கள். Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

28 நான் தேசத்தைப் பாழும் அவாந்தரமுமாக்குவேன்; அப்பொழுது அதினுடைய பெலத்தின் பெருமை ஒழிந்துபோகும்; அப்பொழுது இஸ்ரவேலின் மலைகள் கடந்துபோவாரில்லாமல் அவாந்தரமாய்க் கிடக்கும். For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

29 அவர்கள் செய்த அவர்களுடைய எல்லா அருவருப்புகளினிமித்தமும் நான் தேசத்தைப் பாழும் அவாந்தரமுமாக்கும்போது நான் கர்த்தரென்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள், இதை என் ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு சொல்லுகிறேன் என்று கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல்லு. Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

30 மேலும் மனுபுத்திரனே, உன் ஜனத்தின் புத்திரர் சுவர் ஓரங்களிலும் வீட்டுவாசல்களிலும் உன்னைக்குறித்துப் பேசி, கர்த்தரிடத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்ட வார்த்தை என்னவென்று கேட்போம் வாருங்கள் என்று ஒருவரோடொருவரும் சகோதரனோடே சகோதரனும் சொல்லி, Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

31 ஜனங்கள் கூடிவருகிற வழக்கத்தின்படி உன்னிடத்தில் வந்து, உனக்கு முன்பாக என் ஜனங்கள்போல் உட்கார்ந்து, உன் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் அவைகளின்படி செய்கிறதில்லை; அவர்கள் தங்கள் வாயினாலே இன்பமாய்ப் பேசுகிறார்கள், அவர்கள் இருதயமோ பொருளாசையைப் பின்பற்றிப்போகிறது. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

32 இதோ நீ இனிய குரலும் கீதவாத்தியம் வாசிப்பதில் சாமர்த்தியமுமுடையவன் பாடும் இன்பமான பாட்டுக்குச் சமானமாயிருக்கிறாய்; அவர்கள் உன் வார்த்தைகளைக் கேட்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் அவைகளின்படி செய்யாமற்போகிறார்கள். And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

33 இதோ, அது வருகிறது, அது வருகையில் தங்கள் நடுவிலே ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசி இருந்தான் என்று அறிந்துகொள்வார்கள் என்றார். And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.

1 Karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

2 Manupuththiranae, nee un janaththin puththirarotae paesi, avarkalotae sollavaenntiyathaavathu: naan thaesaththinmael pattayaththai varappannnukaiyil thaesaththin janam thangal ellaikalilulla oruvanai alaiththu, avanaith thangalukkuk kaavarkaaranaaka vaiththapinpu, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

3 Ivan thaesaththinmael pattayam varuvathaikkanndu, ekkaalam oothi, janaththai echcharikkumpothu, If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

4 Ekkaalaththin saththaththak kaetkiravan athaik kaettum, echcharikkaiyaayiraamal, pattayam vanthu avanai vaarikkollukirathu unndaanaal, avanutaiya iraththappali avan thalaiyinmael sumarum. Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

5 Avan ekkaalaththin saththaththaikkaettum, echcharikkaiyirukkavillai; avanutaiya iraththappali avanpaerilae sumarum; echcharikkaiyaayirukkiravano than jeevanaith thappuviththukkolluvaan. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.

6 Kaavarkaaran pattayam varuvathaik kanndum, avan ekkaalam oothaamalum janangal echcharikkappadaamalum, pattayam vanthu avarkalil yaathoruvanai vaarikkollukirathu unndaanaal, avan than akkiramaththilae vaarikkollappattan; aanaalum avan iraththappaliyaik kaavarkaaran kaiyilae kaetpaen. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

7 Manupuththiranae, naan unnai Israel vamsaththaarukkuk kaavarkaaranaaka vaiththaen; aakaiyaal nee en vaayinaalae vaarththaiyaikkaettu, en naamaththinaalae avarkalai echcharippaayaaka. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

8 Naan thunmaarkkanai Nnokki: thunmaarkkanae, nee saakavae saavaayentu sollukaiyil, nee thunmaarkkanaith than thunmaarkkaththiliraathapati echcharikkaththakkathaaka athai avanukkuch sollaamarponaal, anthath thunmaarkkan than akkiramaththilae saavaan; aanaalum avan iraththappaliyai un kaiyilae kaetpaen. When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

9 Thunmaarkkan than valiyaivittuth thirumpumpati nee avanai echchariththum avan than valiyaivittuth thirumpaamarponaal, avan than akkiramaththilae saavaan; neeyo un aaththumaavaith thappuvippaay. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

10 Manupuththiranae, nee Israel vamsaththaarai Nnokki: engal thurokangalum engal paavangalum engalmael irukkirathu, naangal sornthupokirom, thaangal pilaippathu eppatiyentu neengal sollukireerkal. Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

11 Karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkirathu ennavental naan thunmaarkkanutaiya maranaththai virumpaamal, thunmaarkkan than valiyaivittuth thirumpip pilaippathaiyae virumpukiraேn entu en jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn; Israel vamsaththaarae, ungal pollaatha valikalaivittuth thirumpungal, thirumpungal; neengal aen saakavaenndum enkiraar entu avarkalotae sollu. Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

12 Manupuththiranae, nee un janaththin puththirarai Nnokki: neethimaan thurokampannnukira naalilae avanutaiya neethi avanaith thappuvippathillai; thunmaarkkan than thunmaarkkaththaivittuth thirumpukira naalilae avan than akkiramaththinaal vilunthupovathumillai; neethimaan paavanjaெykira naalilae than neethiyinaal pilaippathumillai. Therefore, thou son of man, say unto the children of thy people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

13 Pilaikkavae pilaippaay entu naan neethimaanukkuch sollumpothu, avan than neethiyai nampi, aniyaayanjaெythaal, avanutaiya neethiyil ontum ninaikkappaduvathillai, avan seytha than aniyaayaththilae saavaan. When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it.

14 Pinnum saakavae saavaay entu naan thunmaarkkanukkuch sollumpothu, avan than paavaththaivittuth thirumpi, niyaayamum neethiyunjaெythu, Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

15 Thunmaarkkan thaan vaangina ataimaanaththaiyum thaan kollaiyitta porulaiyum thirumpakkoduththuvittu, aniyaayam seyyaathapati jeevappiramaanangalil nadanthaal, avan saakaamal pilaikkavae pilaippaan. If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

16 Avan seytha avanutaiya ellaap paavangalum avanukku virothamaaka ninaikkappaduvathillai; avan niyaayamum neethiyum seythaan, pilaikkavae pilaippaan entu sollu. None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

17 Un janaththin puththiraro, aanndavarutaiya vali semmaiyaanathalla enkiraarkal; avarkalutaiya valiyae semmaiyaanathalla. Yet the children of thy people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

18 Neethimaan than neethiyaivittuth thirumpi, aniyaayanjaெythaal, avan athinaal saavaan. When the righteous turneth from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

19 Thunmaarkkan than akkiramaththaivittuth thirumpi, niyaayamum neethiyum seythaal, avan avaikalinaal pilaippaan. But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

20 Neengalo, aanndavarutaiya vali semmaiyaanathalla enkireerkal, Israel veettarae naan ungalil ovvoruvanaiyum avanavan valikalinpatiyae niyaayantheerppaenentu sol entar. Yet ye say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O ye house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

21 Engal siraiyiruppin panniranndaam varusham paththaam maatham ainthaanthaethiyilae erusalaemilirunthu thappina oruvan ennidaththil vanthu: nakaram alikkappattathu entan. And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

22 Thappinavan varukiratharku munthina saayangaalaththilae karththarutaiya kai enmael amarnthu, avan kaalaiyil ennidaththil varumattum en vaayaith thiranthirukkappannnnittaு; en vaay thirakkappattathu, pinpu naan melanamaayirukkavillai. Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, afore he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

23 Appoluthu karththarutaiya vaarththai enakku unndaaki, avar: Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

24 Manupuththiranae, Israel thaesaththin paalaana idangalilulla kutikal: Abraham oruvanaayirunthu, thaesaththaich suthanthariththukkonndaan; naangal anaekaraayirukkirom, engalukku intha thaesam suthantharamaakak kodukkappattathu entu sollukiraarkal. Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

25 Aakaiyaal, nee avarkalai Nnokki: neengal iraththaththotae kootiyathaith thintu, ungal narakalaana vikkirakangalukku naeraaka ungal kannkalai aeraெduththu, iraththaththaich sinthiyirukkireerkal, neengal thaesaththaich suthanthariththukkolveerkalo? Wherefore say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Ye eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall ye possess the land?

26 Neengal ungal pattayaththai nampikkonndu, aruvaruppaanathaich seythu, ungalil avanavan thanthan ayalaan manaiviyaith theettuppaduththukireerkal; neengal thaesaththaich suthanthariththukkolveerkalo entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar entu sollu. Ye stand upon your sword, ye work abomination, and ye defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall ye possess the land?

27 Nee avarkalai Nnokki: paalaana idangalil irukkiravarkal pattayaththaal viluvaarkal; velikalil irukkiravanai mirukangalukku iraiyaaka oppukkoduppaen; kottaைkalilum kepikalilum irukkiravarkal kollaiNnoyaal saavaarkal. Say thou thus unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

28 Naan thaesaththaip paalum avaantharamumaakkuvaen; appoluthu athinutaiya pelaththin perumai olinthupokum; appoluthu isravaelin malaikal kadanthupovaarillaamal avaantharamaayk kidakkum. For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

29 Avarkal seytha avarkalutaiya ellaa aruvaruppukalinimiththamum naan thaesaththaip paalum avaantharamumaakkumpothu naan karththarentu arinthukolvaarkal, ithai en jeevanaikkonndu sollukiraேn entu karththaraakiya aanndavar uraikkiraar entu sollu. 30 Maelum manupuththiranae, un janaththin puththirar suvar orangalilum veettuvaasalkalilum unnaikkuriththup paesi, karththaridaththilirunthu purappatta vaarththai ennaventu kaetpom vaarungal entu oruvarotoruvarum sakotharanotae sakotharanum solli, Also, thou son of man, the children of thy people still are talking against thee by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that cometh forth from the LORD.

31 Janangal kootivarukira valakkaththinpati unnidaththil vanthu, unakku munpaaka en janangalpol utkaarnthu, un vaarththaikalaik kaetkiraarkal; aanaalum avarkal avaikalinpati seykirathillai; avarkal thangal vaayinaalae inpamaayp paesukiraarkal, avarkal iruthayamo porulaasaiyaip pinpattippokirathu. And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their covetousness.

32 Itho nee iniya kuralum geethavaaththiyam vaasippathil saamarththiyamumutaiyavan paadum inpamaana paattukkuch samaanamaayirukkiraay; avarkal un vaarththaikalaik kaetkiraarkal; aanaalum avaikalinpati seyyaamarpokiraarkal. And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.

33 Itho, athu varukirathu, athu varukaiyil thangal naduvilae oru theerkkatharisi irunthaan entu arinthukolvaarkal entar. And when this cometh to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet hath been among them.
