Genesis 40 in Tamil

1 இந்த நடபடிகளுக்குப் பின்பு, எகிப்து ராஜாவுக்குப் பானபாத்திரக்காரனும் சுயம்பாகியும் எகிப்து ராஜாவாகிய தங்கள் ஆண்டவனுக்குக் குற்றம் செய்தார்கள். And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

2 பார்வோன் தன் பானபாத்திரக்காரரின் தலைவனும் சுயம்பாகிகளின் தலைவனும் ஆகிய இவ்விரண்டு பிரதானிகள் மேலும் கடுங்கோபங்கொண்டு, And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.

3 அவர்களை யோசேப்பு வைக்கப்பட்டிருந்த இடமும் தலையாரிகளின் அதிபதியின் வீடுமாகிய சிறைச்சாலையிலே காவல்பண்ணுவித்தான். And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.

4 தலையாரிகளின் அதிபதி அவர்களை விசாரிக்கும்படி யோசேப்பின் வசத்தில் ஒப்புவித்தான்; அவன் அவர்களை விசாரித்துவந்தான்; அவர்கள் அநேகநாள் காவலில் இருந்தார்கள். And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.

5 எகிப்து ராஜாவுக்கு பானபாத்திரக்காரனும் சுயம்பாகியுமாகிய அவ்விரண்டுபேரும் சிறைச்சாலையில் இருக்கும்போது, ஒரே ராத்திரியிலே வெவ்வேறு பொருள்கொண்ட சொப்பனம் கண்டார்கள். And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.

6 காலமே யோசேப்பு அவர்களிடத்தில் போய், அவர்களைப் பார்க்கும்போது, அவர்கள் கலங்கியிருந்தார்கள். And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.

7 அப்பொழுது அவன் தன் எஜமானுடைய வீட்டில் தன்னோடே காவல்பண்ணப்பட்டிருந்த பார்வோனுடைய பிரதானிகளை நோக்கி: உங்கள் முகங்கள் இன்று துக்கமாயிருக்கிறது என்ன என்று கேட்டான். And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?

8 அதற்கு அவர்கள்: சொப்பனம் கண்டோம், அதற்கு அர்த்தம் சொல்லுகிறவன் ஒருவனும் இல்லை என்றார்கள். அதற்கு யோசேப்பு: சொப்பனத்துக்கு அர்த்தம் சொல்லுதல் தேவனுக்குரியதல்லவா? அவைகளை என்னிடத்தில் சொல்லுங்கள் என்றான். And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

9 அப்பொழுது பானபாத்திரக்காரரின் தலைவன் யோசேப்பை நோக்கி: என் சொப்பனத்திலே ஒரு திராட்சைச் செடி எனக்கு முன்பாக இருக்கக் கண்டேன். And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;

10 அந்தத் திராட்சைச் செடியிலே மூன்று கொடிகள் இருந்தது; அது துளிர்க்கிறதாயிருந்தது; அதில் பூக்கள் மலர்ந்திருந்தது; அதின் குலைகள் பழுத்த பழங்களாயிருந்தது. And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:

11 பார்வோனுடைய பாத்திரம் என் கையிலே இருந்தது; நான் அந்தப் பழங்களைப் பறித்து, அவைகளைப் பார்வோனுடைய பாத்திரத்தில் பிழிந்து, அந்தப் பாத்திரத்தைப் பார்வோனுடைய கையிலே கொடுத்தேன் என்று, தன் சொப்பனத்தைச் சொன்னான். And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.

12 அதற்கு யோசேப்பு: அந்த மூன்று கொடிகளும் மூன்று நாளாம். And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:

13 மூன்று நாளைக்குள்ளே பார்வோன் உன் தலையை உயர்த்தி, உன்னை மறுபடியும் உன் நிலையிலே நிறுத்துவார்; முன்னே அவருக்குப் பானம் கொடுத்துவந்த வழக்கத்தின்படி பார்வோனின் பாத்திரத்தை அவர் கையிலே கொடுப்பாய்; Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.

14 இதுதான் அதின் அர்த்தம் என்று சொன்னதும் அன்றி, நீ வாழ்வடைந்திருக்கும்போது, என்னை நினைத்து, என்மேல் தயவுவைத்து, என் காரியத்தைப் பார்வோனுக்கு அறிவித்து, இந்த இடத்திலிருந்து என்னை விடுதலையாக்கவேண்டும். But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and show kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

15 நான் எபிரெயருடைய தேசத்திலிருந்து களவாய்க் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டேன்; என்னை இந்தக் காவல் கிடங்கில் வைக்கும்படிக்கும் நான் இவ்விடத்தில் ஒன்றும் செய்யவில்லை என்றும் சொன்னான். For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

16 அர்த்தம் நன்றாயிருக்கிறது என்று சுயம்பாகிகளின் தலைவன் கண்டு, யோசேப்பை நோக்கி: நானும் என் சொப்பனத்தில் மூன்று வெள்ளைக் கூடைகள் என் தலையின்மேல் இருக்கக் கண்டேன்; When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:

17 மேற்கூடையிலே பார்வோனுக்காகச் சமைக்கப்பட்ட சகலவித பலகாரங்களிலும் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சம் இருந்தது; என் தலையின்மேல் கூடையில் இருந்தவைகளைப் பறவைகள் வந்து பட்சித்தது என்றான். And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.

18 அதற்கு யோசேப்பு: அந்த மூன்று கூடைகளும் மூன்று நாளாம். And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:

19 இன்னும் மூன்று நாளைக்குள்ளே பார்வோன் உன் தலையை உயர்த்தி, உன்னை மரத்திலே தூக்கிப்போடுவார்; அப்பொழுது பறவைகள் உன் மாம்சத்தைத் தின்னும், இதுதான் அதின் அர்த்தம் என்று சொன்னான். Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.

20 மூன்றாம்நாள் பார்வோனுடைய ஜன்ம நாளாயிருந்தது; அவன் தன் ஊழியக்காரர் எல்லாருக்கும் விருந்துபண்ணி, பானபாத்திரக்காரருடைய தலைவன் தலையையும் சுயம்பாகிகளுடைய தலைவன் தலையையும் தன் உத்தியோகஸ்தரின் நடுவே உயர்த்தி, And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

21 பானபாத்திரக்காரரின் தலைவனைப் பானங்கொடுக்கிற தன் உத்தியோகத்திலே மறுபடியும் வைத்தான்; அந்தப்படியே அவன் பார்வோனுடைய கையிலே பாத்திரத்தைக் கொடுத்தான். And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand:

22 சுயம்பாகிகளின் தலைவனையோ தூக்கிப்போட்டான். யோசேப்பு அவர்களுக்குச் சொன்ன அர்த்தத்தின்படியே சம்பவித்தது. But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

23 ஆனாலும் பானபாத்திரக்காரரின் தலைவன் யோசேப்பை நினையாமல் அவனை மறந்துவிட்டான். Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.

1 Intha nadapatikalukkup pinpu, ekipthu raajaavukkup paanapaaththirakkaaranum suyampaakiyum ekipthu raajaavaakiya thangal aanndavanukkuk kuttam seythaarkal. And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.

2 Paarvon than paanapaaththirakkaararin thalaivanum suyampaakikalin thalaivanum aakiya ivviranndu pirathaanikal maelum kadungaோpangaொnndu, And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.

3 Avarkalai yoseppu vaikkappattiruntha idamum thalaiyaarikalin athipathiyin veedumaakiya siraichchaாlaiyilae kaavalpannnuviththaan. And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.

4 Thalaiyaarikalin athipathi avarkalai visaarikkumpati yoseppin vasaththil oppuviththaan; avan avarkalai visaariththuvanthaan; avarkal anaekanaal kaavalil irunthaarkal. And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.

5 Ekipthu raajaavukku paanapaaththirakkaaranum suyampaakiyumaakiya avviranndupaerum siraichchaாlaiyil irukkumpothu, orae raaththiriyilae vevvaeraு porulkonnda soppanam kanndaarkal. And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.

6 Kaalamae yoseppu avarkalidaththil poy, avarkalaip paarkkumpothu, avarkal kalangiyirunthaarkal. And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.

7 Appoluthu avan than ejamaanutaiya veettil thannotae kaavalpannnappattiruntha paarvonutaiya pirathaanikalai Nnokki: ungal mukangal intu thukkamaayirukkirathu enna entu kaettan. And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?

8 Atharku avarkal: soppanam kanntoom, atharku arththam sollukiravan oruvanum illai entarkal. Atharku yoseppu: soppanaththukku arththam solluthal thaevanukkuriyathallavaa? Avaikalai ennidaththil sollungal entan. And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.

9 Appoluthu paanapaaththirakkaararin thalaivan yoseppai Nnokki: en soppanaththilae oru thiraatchaைch seti enakku munpaaka irukkak kanntaen. And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;

10 Anthath thiraatchaைch setiyilae moontu kotikal irunthathu; athu thulirkkirathaayirunthathu; athil pookkal malarnthirunthathu; athin kulaikal paluththa palangalaayirunthathu. And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:

11 Paarvonutaiya paaththiram en kaiyilae irunthathu; naan anthap palangalaip pariththu, avaikalaip paarvonutaiya paaththiraththil pilinthu, anthap paaththiraththaip paarvonutaiya kaiyilae koduththaen entu, than soppanaththaich sonnaan. And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.

12 Atharku yoseppu: antha moontu kotikalum moontu naalaam. And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:

13 Moontu naalaikkullae paarvon un thalaiyai uyarththi, unnai maraுpatiyum un nilaiyilae niraுththuvaar; munnae avarukkup paanam koduththuvantha valakkaththinpati paarvonin paaththiraththai avar kaiyilae koduppaay; Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.

14 Ithuthaan athin arththam entu sonnathum anti, nee vaalvatainthirukkumpothu, ennai ninaiththu, enmael thayavuvaiththu, en kaariyaththaip paarvonukku ariviththu, intha idaththilirunthu ennai viduthalaiyaakkavaenndum. But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and show kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:

15 Naan epireyarutaiya thaesaththilirunthu kalavaayk konnduvarappattaேn; ennai inthak kaaval kidangil vaikkumpatikkum naan ivvidaththil ontum seyyavillai entum sonnaan. For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.

16 Arththam nantayirukkirathu entu suyampaakikalin thalaivan kanndu, yoseppai Nnokki: naanum en soppanaththil moontu vellaik kootaikal en thalaiyinmael irukkak kanntaen; When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:

17 Maerkootaiyilae paarvonukkaakach samaikkappatta sakalavitha palakaarangalilum konjam konjam irunthathu; en thalaiyinmael kootaiyil irunthavaikalaip paravaikal vanthu patchiththathu entan. And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.

18 Atharku yoseppu: antha moontu kootaikalum moontu naalaam. And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:

19 Innum moontu naalaikkullae paarvon un thalaiyai uyarththi, unnai maraththilae thookkippoduvaar; appoluthu paravaikal un maamsaththaith thinnum, ithuthaan athin arththam entu sonnaan. Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.

20 Moontamnaal paarvonutaiya janma naalaayirunthathu; avan than ooliyakkaarar ellaarukkum virunthupannnni, paanapaaththirakkaararutaiya thalaivan thalaiyaiyum suyampaakikalutaiya thalaivan thalaiyaiyum than uththiyokastharin naduvae uyarththi, And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.

21 Paanapaaththirakkaararin thalaivanaip paanangaொdukkira than uththiyokaththilae maraுpatiyum vaiththaan; anthappatiyae avan paarvonutaiya kaiyilae paaththiraththaik koduththaan. And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand:

22 Suyampaakikalin thalaivanaiyo thookkippottan. Yoseppu avarkalukkuch sonna arththaththinpatiyae sampaviththathu. But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.

23 Aanaalum paanapaaththirakkaararin thalaivan yoseppai ninaiyaamal avanai maranthuvittan. Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him.
