1 எகிப்தின் பாரம். இதோ, கர்த்தர் வேகமான மேகத்தின்மேல் ஏறி எகிப்துக்கு வருவார்; அப்பொழுது எகிப்தின் விக்கிரகங்கள் அவருக்கு முன்பாகக் குலுங்கும், எகிப்தின் இருதயம் தனக்குள்ளே கரைந்துபோகும். The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

2 சகோதரனோடே சகோதரனும், சிநேகிதனோடே சிநேகிதனும், பட்டணத்தோடே பட்டணமும் ராஜ்யத்தோடே ராஜ்யமும் யுத்தம்பண்ணும்படியாய், எகிப்தியரை எகிப்தியரோடே போர் கலக்கப்பண்ணுவேன். And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

3 அதினால் எகிப்தியருடைய ஆவி அவர்களுக்குள் சோர்ந்துபோகும்; அவர்கள் ஆலோசனையை முழுகிப்போகப் பண்ணுவேன்; அப்பொழுது விக்கிரகங்களையும், மந்திரவாதிகளையும் சன்னதக்காரர்களையும், குறிசொல்லுகிறவர்களையும் தேடுவார்கள். And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

4 நான் எகிப்தியரைக் கடினமான அதிபதியின் கையில் ஒப்பிப்பேன்; கடூரமான ராஜா அவர்களை ஆளுவானென்று சேனைகளின் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் சொல்லுகிறார். And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

5 அப்பொழுது கடலின் தண்ணீர்கள் குறைந்து, நதியும் வற்றி வறண்டுபோம். And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

6 ஆறுகளைத் திருப்பிவிடுவார்கள்; அரணிப்பான அகழிகள் வெறுமையாகி வறண்டுபோம்; கொறுக்கையும் நாணலும் வாடும். And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.

7 நதியோரத்திலும் நதிமுகத்திலுமிருக்கிற மடலுள்ள செடிகளும், நதியருகே விதைக்கப்பட்ட யாவும் உலர்ந்துபோம்; அது பறக்கடிக்கப்பட்டு இல்லாதேபோம். The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.

8 மீன்பிடிக்கிறவர்கள் பெருமூச்சுவிடுவார்கள், நதியிலே தூண்டில்போடுகிற யாவரும் துக்கிப்பார்கள்; தண்ணீர்களின்மேல் வலைகளை வீசுகிறவர்கள் சலித்துப்போவார்கள். The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.

9 மெல்லிய சணலைப் பக்குவப்படுத்துகிறவர்களும், சல்லாக்களை நெய்கிறவர்களும் நாணுவார்கள். Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.

10 மீன் வளர்க்கிற குளங்களைக் கூலிக்கு அணைக்கட்டுகிற அனைவருடைய அணைக்கட்டுகளும் உடைந்துபோம். And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.

11 சோவான்பட்டணத்தின் பிரபுக்களானவர்கள் மூடர்கள்; பார்வோனுடைய ஞானமுள்ள ஆலோசனைக்காரரின் ஆலோசனை மதியீனமாயிற்று: நான் ஞானிகளின் புத்திரன், நான் பூர்வ ராஜாக்களின் குமாரன் என்று பார்வோனுடனே எப்படிச் சொல்லுகிறீர்கள்? Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?

12 அவர்கள் எங்கே? உன் ஞானிகள் எங்கே? சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் எகிப்தைக்குறித்துப் பண்ணின யோசனையை அவர்கள் உனக்குத் தெரிவிக்கட்டும்; அல்லது தாங்களே அறிந்துகொள்ளட்டும். Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.

13 சோவான் பிரபுக்கள் மூடரானார்கள்; நோப்பின் பிரபுக்கள் மோசம்போனார்கள்; எகிப்தையும் அதின் கோத்திரத்தலைவரையும் வழிதப்பப்பண்ணுகிறார்கள். The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.

14 கர்த்தர் அதின் நடுவில் தாறுமாறுகளின் ஆவியை வரப்பண்ணினார்; ஆனதுகொண்டு வெறியன் வாந்திபண்ணி, தள்ளாடித் திரிகிறதுபோல அவர்கள் எகிப்தை அதின் எல்லாச் செய்கையிலும் தள்ளாடித் திரியப்பண்ணுகிறார்கள். The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

15 எகிப்தில் தலையாகிலும் வாலாகிலும் கிளையாகிலும் நாணலாகிலும் செய்யும் வேலை ஒன்றுமிராது. Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.

16 அக்காலத்திலே எகிப்தியர் பெண்டுகளைப்போலிருந்து, சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் தங்கள்மேல் அசைக்கும் கையசைவிலே அஞ்சி நடுங்குவார்கள். In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

17 சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் அவர்களுக்கு விரோதமாக நிர்ணயித்துக்கொண்ட ஆலோசனையினிமித்தம் யூதாவின் தேசம் எகிப்தியருக்குப் பயங்கரமாயிருக்கும்; தனக்குள் அதை நினைக்கிறவனெவனும் திடுக்கிடுவான். And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

18 அக்காலத்திலே எகிப்துதேசத்திலிருக்கும் ஐந்து பட்டணங்கள் கானான் பாஷையைப் பேசி, சேனைகளின் கர்த்தரை முன்னிட்டு ஆணையிடும்; அவைகளில் ஒன்று நிர்மூலமான பட்டணம் என்னப்படும். In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

19 அக்காலத்திலே எகிப்துதேசத்தின் நடுவிலே கர்த்தருக்கு ஒரு பலிபீடமும், அதின் எல்லையருகே கர்த்தருக்கு ஒரு ஸ்தம்பமும் உண்டாயிருக்கும். In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

20 அது எகிப்து தேசத்திலே சேனைகளின் கர்த்தருக்கு அடையாளமும் சாட்சியுமாயிருக்கும்; ஒடுக்குகிறவர்களினிமித்தம் அவர்கள் கர்த்தரைநோக்கிக் கூப்பிடுவார்கள்; அப்போது அவர்களுக்கு ஒரு இரட்சகனையும், ஒரு பெலவானையும் அனுப்பி அவர்களை விடுவிப்பார். And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

21 அப்பொழுது கர்த்தர் எகிப்தியருக்கு அறியப்படுவார்; எகிப்தியர் கர்த்தரை அக்காலத்திலே அறிந்து, அவருக்குப் பலிகளோடும் காணிக்கைகளோடும் ஆராதனைசெய்து கர்த்தருக்குப் பொருத்தனைகளைப்பண்ணி அவைகளைச் செலுத்துவார்கள். And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.

22 கர்த்தர் எகிப்தியரை வாதையினால் அடிப்பார்; அடித்து குணமாக்குவார்; அவர்கள் கர்த்தரிடத்தில் மனந்திரும்புவார்கள்; அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் விண்ணப்பத்தைக் கேட்டு, அவர்களைக் குணமாக்குவார். And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

23 அக்காலத்திலே எகிப்திலிருந்து அசீரியாவுக்குப் போகிற பெரும்பாதை உண்டாயிருக்கும்; அசீரியர் எகிப்துக்கும், எகிப்தியர் அசீரியாவுக்கும் வந்து, எகிப்தியர் அசீரியரோடுங்கூட ஆராதனை செய்வார்கள். In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

24 அக்காலத்திலே இஸ்ரவேல் எகிப்தோடும் அசீரியாவோடும் மூன்றாவதாக பூமியின் நடுவில் ஆசீர்வாதமாயிருக்கும். In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

25 அவர்களைக் குறித்துச் சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர்: எகிப்தியராகிய என் ஜனமும், அசீரியராகிய என் கரத்தின் கிரியையும், இஸ்ரவேலராகிய என் சுதந்தரமும் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டது என்று சொல்லி, அவர்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பார். Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.

1 Ekipthin paaram. Itho, Karththar vaekamaana maekaththinmael aeri ekipthukku varuvaar; appoluthu ekipthin vikkirakangal avarukku munpaakak kulungum, ekipthin iruthayam thanakkullae karainthupokum. The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

2 Sakotharanotae sakotharanum, sinaekithanotae sinaekithanum, pattanaththotae pattanamum raajyaththotae raajyamum yuththampannnumpatiyaay, ekipthiyarai ekipthiyarotae por kalakkappannnuvaen. And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.

3 Athinaal ekipthiyarutaiya aavi avarkalukkul sornthupokum; avarkal aalosanaiyai mulukippokap pannnuvaen; appoluthu vikkirakangalaiyum, manthiravaathikalaiyum sannathakkaararkalaiyum, kurisollukiravarkalaiyum thaeduvaarkal. And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.

4 Naan ekipthiyaraik katinamaana athipathiyin kaiyil oppippaen; katooramaana raajaa avarkalai aaluvaanentu senaikalin karththaraakiya aanndavar sollukiraar. And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.

5 Appoluthu kadalin thannnneerkal kurainthu, nathiyum vatti varanndupom. And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.

6 Aaraுkalaith thiruppividuvaarkal; arannippaana akalikal veraுmaiyaaki varanndupom; koraுkkaiyum naanalum vaadum. And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.

7 Nathiyoraththilum nathimukaththilumirukkira madalulla setikalum, nathiyarukae vithaikkappatta yaavum ularnthupom; athu parakkatikkappattu illaathaepom. The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.

8 Meenpitikkiravarkal perumoochchuviduvaarkal, nathiyilae thoonntilpodukira yaavarum thukkippaarkal; thannnneerkalinmael valaikalai veesukiravarkal saliththuppovaarkal. The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.

9 Melliya sanalaip pakkuvappaduththukiravarkalum, sallaakkalai neykiravarkalum naanuvaarkal. Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.

10 Meen valarkkira kulangalaik koolikku annaikkattukira anaivarutaiya annaikkattukalum utainthupom. And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.

11 Sovaanpattanaththin pirapukkalaanavarkal moodarkal; paarvonutaiya njaanamulla aalosanaikkaararin aalosanai mathiyeenamaayittaு: naan njaanikalin puththiran, naan poorva raajaakkalin kumaaran entu paarvonudanae eppatich sollukireerkal? Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?

12 Avarkal engae? Un njaanikal engae? Senaikalin Karththar ekipthaikkuriththup pannnnina yosanaiyai avarkal unakkuth therivikkattum; allathu thaangalae arinthukollattum. Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.

13 Sovaan pirapukkal moodaraanaarkal; Nnoppin pirapukkal mosamponaarkal; ekipthaiyum athin koththiraththalaivaraiyum valithappappannnukiraarkal. The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.

14 Karththar athin naduvil thaaraுmaaraுkalin aaviyai varappannnninaar; aanathukonndu veriyan vaanthipannnni, thallaatith thirikirathupola avarkal ekipthai athin ellaach seykaiyilum thallaatith thiriyappannnukiraarkal. The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

15 Ekipthil thalaiyaakilum vaalaakilum kilaiyaakilum naanalaakilum seyyum vaelai ontumiraathu. Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.

16 Akkaalaththilae ekipthiyar penndukalaippolirunthu, senaikalin Karththar thangalmael asaikkum kaiyasaivilae anji nadunguvaarkal. In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.

17 Senaikalin Karththar avarkalukku virothamaaka nirnayiththukkonnda aalosanaiyinimiththam yoothaavin thaesam ekipthiyarukkup payangaramaayirukkum; thanakkul athai ninaikkiravanevanum thidukkiduvaan. And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.

18 Akkaalaththilae ekipthuthaesaththilirukkum ainthu pattanangal kaanaan paashaiyaip paesi, senaikalin karththarai munnittu aannaiyidum; avaikalil ontu nirmoolamaana pattanam ennappadum. In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.

19 Akkaalaththilae ekipthuthaesaththin naduvilae karththarukku oru palipeedamum, athin ellaiyarukae karththarukku oru sthampamum unndaayirukkum. In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.

20 Athu ekipthu thaesaththilae senaikalin karththarukku ataiyaalamum saatchiyumaayirukkum; odukkukiravarkalinimiththam avarkal karththaraiNnokkik kooppiduvaarkal; appothu avarkalukku oru iratchakanaiyum, oru pelavaanaiyum anuppi avarkalai viduvippaar. And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.

21 Appoluthu Karththar ekipthiyarukku ariyappaduvaar; ekipthiyar karththarai akkaalaththilae arinthu, avarukkup palikalodum kaannikkaikalodum aaraathanaiseythu karththarukkup poruththanaikalaippannnni avaikalaich seluththuvaarkal. And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.

22 Karththar ekipthiyarai vaathaiyinaal atippaar; atiththu kunamaakkuvaar; avarkal karththaridaththil mananthirumpuvaarkal; appoluthu avarkal vinnnappaththaik kaettu, avarkalaik kunamaakkuvaar. And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.

23 Akkaalaththilae ekipthilirunthu aseeriyaavukkup pokira perumpaathai unndaayirukkum; aseeriyar ekipthukkum, ekipthiyar aseeriyaavukkum vanthu, ekipthiyar aseeriyarodungaூda aaraathanai seyvaarkal. 24 Akkaalaththilae Israel ekipthodum aseeriyaavodum moontavathaaka poomiyin naduvil aaseervaathamaayirukkum. In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:

25 Avarkalaik kuriththuch senaikalin Karththar: ekipthiyaraakiya en janamum, aseeriyaraakiya en karaththin kiriyaiyum, isravaelaraakiya en suthantharamum aaseervathikkappattathu entu solli, avarkalai aaseervathippaar. Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
