Jeremiah 4 in Tamil

1 இஸ்ரவேலே, நீ திரும்புகிறதற்கு மனதாயிருந்தால் என்னிடத்தில் திரும்பு என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார்; நீ உன் அருவருப்புகளை என் பார்வையினின்று அՠα்றிவிட்டால், நீ இனο அலைந்து திரிவதில்லை. If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

2 நீ உண்மையோடும், நியாயத்தோடும், நீதியோடும், கர்த்தருடைய ஜீவனைக்கொண்டு ஆணையிடுவாய்; புறஜாதிகளும் அவருக்குள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டு, அவருக்குள் மேன்மைபாராட்டுவார்கள். And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

3 யூதா மனுஷரோடும், எருசலேமியரோடும் கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறது என்னவென்றால்: நீங்கள் முள்ளுகளுக்குள்ளே விதையாதிருங்கள், உங்கள் தரிசு நிலத்தைப் பண்படுத்துங்கள். For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

4 யூதா மனுஷரே, எருசலேமின் குடிகளே, உங்கள் கிரியைகளுடைய பொல்லாப்பினிமித்தம் என் உக்கிரம் அக்கினியைப்போல் எழும்பி, அவிப்பார் இல்லாமல் எரியாதபடிக்கு நீங்கள் கர்த்தருக்கென்று உங்களை விருத்தசேதனம்பண்ணி, உங்கள் இருதயத்தின் நுனித்தோலை நீக்கிப்போடுங்கள். Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

5 தேசத்தில் எக்காளம் ஊதுங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, யூதாவில் அறிவித்து, எருசலேமில் கேட்கப்பண்ணுங்கள்; நாம் அரணான பட்டணங்களுக்கு உட்படும்படிக்குச் சேருங்கள் என்று சொல்லி, உரத்த சத்தமாய்க் கூப்பிடுங்கள். Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.

6 சீயோனுக்கு நேரே கொடியேற்றுங்கள்; கூடுங்கள், நிற்காதிருங்கள்; நான் வடக்கேயிருந்து பொல்லாப்பையும், மகா சங்காரத்தையும் வரப்பண்ணுகிறேன். Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

7 உன் தேசத்தைப் பாழாக்கி விடும்படிக்குச் சிங்கம் தன் புதரிலிருந்து எழும்பி, ஜாதிகளைச் சங்கரிக்கிறவன் தன் ஸ்தானத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு வருகிறான்; உன் பட்டணங்கள் குடியிராதபடி அழிக்கப்படும் என்கிறார். The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

8 இதினிமித்தம் இரட்டைக் கட்டிக்கொள்ளுங்கள்; புலம்பி அலறுங்கள்; கர்த்தருடைய உக்கிரகோபம் நம்மைவிட்டுத் திரும்பவில்லையே. For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.

9 அந்நாளிலே ராஜாவின் இருதயமும், பிரபுக்களின் இருதயமும் மடிந்துபோம்; ஆசாரியர்கள் திடுக்கிட்டு, தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் திகைப்பார்கள் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

10 அப்பொழுது நான்: ஆ! கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே, உங்களுக்குச் சமாதானமிருக்கும் என்று சொன்னதினால், மெய்யாகவே இந்த ஜனத்துக்கும் எருசலேமுக்கும் மிகுதியான மோசத்தை வரப்பண்ணினீர்; பட்டயம் பிராணன்மட்டும் எட்டுகிறதே என்றேன். Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.

11 வனாந்தரத்திலுள்ள உயர்நிலங்களிலிருந்து, ஒரு தீக்காற்று என் ஜனமாகிய குமாரத்திக்கு நேராக அடிக்கும் என்று அக்காலத்திலே இந்த ஜனத்தோடும் எருசலேமோடும் சொல்லப்படும்; அது தூற்றவுமாட்டாது சுத்திகரிக்கவுமாட்டாது. At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,

12 இதைப்பார்க்கிலும் பலமான காற்று என் காரியமாய் வரும்; இப்பொழுது நானும் அவர்களோடே நியாயம் பேசுவேன். Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.

13 இதோ, மேகங்களைப்போல எழும்பிவருகிறான்; அவனுடைய இரதங்கள் பெருங்காற்றைப்போலிருக்கிறது; அவன் குதிரைகள் கழுகுகளிலும் வேகமானவைகள்; நமக்கு ஐயோ! நாம் பாழாக்கப்படுகிறோமே. Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.

14 எருசலேமே, நீ இரட்சிக்கப்படும்படிக்கு உன் இருதயத்தைப் பொல்லாப்பறக் கழுவு; எந்தமட்டும் அக்கிரம நினைவுகள் உன் உள்ளத்திலே தங்கும். O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

15 தாணிலிருந்து ஒரு சத்தம் வந்து, செய்தியை அறிவிக்கிறது; எப்பிராயீமின் மலையிலிருந்து வந்து, தீங்கைப் பிரசித்தம்பண்ணுகிறது. For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.

16 ஜாதிகளுக்கு அதை நீங்கள் பிரஸ்தாபம்பண்ணுங்கள்; இதோ, காவற்சேவகர் தூரதேசத்திலிருந்து வந்து, யூதாவுடைய பட்டணங்களுக்கு விரோதமாய் உரத்தசத்தமிடுவார்கள் என்று எருசலேமுக்குக் கூறுங்கள். Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.

17 அதற்கு விரோதமாய் அவர்கள் வயல்வெளிகளின் காவற்காரரைப்போலச் சுற்றிலுமிருப்பார்கள்; அது எனக்கு விரோதமாய்க் கலகஞ்செய்தது என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD.

18 உன் நடக்கையும் உன் கிரியைகளுமே இவைகளை உனக்கு நேரிடப்பண்ணின; இது இத்தனை கசப்பாயிருந்து, உன் இருதயமட்டும் எட்டுகிறதற்குக் காரணம் உன் பொல்லாப்புத்தானே. Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.

19 என் குடல்கள், என் குடல்களே நோகிறது; என் உள்ளம் வேதனைப்படுகிறது, என் இருதயம் என்னில் கதறுகிறது; நான் பேசாமல் அமர்ந்திருக்கக் கூடாது; என் ஆத்துமாவே, எக்காளத்தின் சத்தத்தையும், யுத்தத்தின் ஆர்ப்பரிப்பையும் கேட்டாயே. My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

20 நாசத்துக்குமேல் நாசம் வருகிறதாகக் கூறப்படுகிறது; தேசமெல்லாம் பாழாகிறது; அசுப்பிலே என் கூடாரங்களும், ஒரு நிமிஷத்திலே என் திரைகளும் பாழாக்கப்படுகிறது. Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

21 நான் எதுவரைக்கும் கொடியைக்கண்டு, எக்காளத்தின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்பேன். How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

22 என் ஜனங்களோ மதியற்றவர்கள், என்னை அவர்கள் அறியாதிருக்கிறார்கள், அவர்கள் பைத்தியமுள்ள பிள்ளைகள், அவர்களுக்கு உணர்வே இல்லை; பொல்லாப்புச்செய்ய அவர்கள் அறிவாளிகள், நன்மைசெய்யவோ அவர்கள் அறிவில்லாதவர்கள். For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children, and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they have no knowledge.

23 பூமியைப் பார்த்தேன், அது ஒழுங்கின்மையும் வெறுமையுமாயிருந்தது; வானங்களைப் பார்த்தேன், அவைகளுக்கு ஒளியில்லாதிருந்தது. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

24 பர்வதங்களைப் பார்த்தேன், அவைகள் அதிர்ந்தன; எல்லாக் குன்றுகளும் அசைந்தன. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25 பின்னும் நான் பார்ககும்போது, மனுஷனில்லை; ஆகாசத்துப் பறவைகளெல்லாம் பறந்துபோயின. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26 பின்னும் நான் பார்க்கும்போது, கர்த்தராலும், அவருடைய உக்கிரகோபத்தாலும் பயிர்நிலம் வனாந்தரமாயிற்று; அதின் பட்டணங்களெல்லாம் இடிந்துபோயின. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

27 தேசமெல்லாம் பாழாய்ப்போம்; ஆகிலும் சர்வசங்காரம் செய்யேன் என்று கர்த்தர் சொல்லுகிறார். For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

28 இதினிமித்தம் பூமி புலம்பும், உயர இருக்கிற வானங்கள் கறுத்துப்போம்; நான் அதைச் சொன்னேன், அதை நிர்ணயம் பண்ணினேன்; நான் மனஸ்தாபப்படுவதும் இல்லை; நான் அதைவிட்டுத் திரும்புவதும் இல்லை. For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

29 குதிரைவீரரும் வில்வீரரும் இடும் சத்தத்தினாலே சகல ஊராரும் ஓடி, அடர்த்தியான காடுகளில் புகுந்து, கன்மலைகளிலும் ஏறுவார்கள்; ஒரு மனுஷனும் அவைகளிலே குடியிராதபடி எல்லா ஊர்களும் விடப்பட்டிருக்கும். The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.

30 பாழாய்ப்போன நீ இப்பொழுது என்ன செய்வாய்? நீ இரத்தாம்பரம் உடுத்தாலும், பொன்னாபரணங்களால் உன்னைச் சிங்காரித்தாலும், உன் கண்களில் மையிட்டுக்கொண்டாலும், வீணாய் உன்னை அழகுபடுத்துவாய்; சோரநாயகர் உன்னை அசட்டைபண்ணி, உன் பிராணனை வாங்கத் தேடுவார்கள். And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? Though thou clothest thyself with crimson, though thou deckest thee with ornaments of gold, though thou rentest thy face with painting, in vain shalt thou make thyself fair; thy lovers will despise thee, they will seek thy life.

31 கர்ப்பவேதனைப்படுகிறவளின் சத்தமாகவும், முதல்விசை பிள்ளை பெறுகிறவளின் வியாகுலமாகவும், சீயோன் குமாரத்தியின் சத்தத்தைக் கேட்கிறேன்; அவள் பெருமூச்சுவிட்டு, தன் கைகளை விரித்து: ஐயோ! கொலைபாதகர்களாலே என் ஆத்துமா சோர்ந்துபோகிறதே என்கிறாள். For I have heard a voice as of a woman in travail, and the anguish as of her that bringeth forth her first child, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands, saying, Woe is me now! for my soul is wearied because of murderers.

1 Isravaelae, nee thirumpukiratharku manathaayirunthaal ennidaththil thirumpu entu Karththar sollukiraar; nee un aruvaruppukalai en paarvaiyinintu aՠα்rivittal, nee inaο alainthu thirivathillai. If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith the LORD, return unto me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of my sight, then shalt thou not remove.

2 Nee unnmaiyodum, niyaayaththodum, neethiyodum, karththarutaiya jeevanaikkonndu aannaiyiduvaay; purajaathikalum avarukkul aaseervathikkappattu, avarukkul maenmaipaaraattuvaarkal. And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

3 Yoothaa manusharodum, erusalaemiyarodum Karththar sollukirathu ennavental: neengal mullukalukkullae vithaiyaathirungal, ungal tharisu nilaththaip pannpaduththungal. For thus saith the LORD to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.

4 Yoothaa manusharae, erusalaemin kutikalae, ungal kiriyaikalutaiya pollaappinimiththam en ukkiram akkiniyaippol elumpi, avippaar illaamal eriyaathapatikku neengal karththarukkentu ungalai viruththasethanampannnni, ungal iruthayaththin nuniththolai neekkippodungal. Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

5 Thaesaththil ekkaalam oothungal entu solli, yoothaavil ariviththu, erusalaemil kaetkappannnungal; naam arannaana pattanangalukku utpadumpatikkuch serungal entu solli, uraththa saththamaayk kooppidungal. Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.

6 Seeyonukku naerae kotiyaettaுngal; koodungal, nirkaathirungal; naan vadakkaeyirunthu pollaappaiyum, makaa sangaaraththaiyum varappannnukiraேn. Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

7 Un thaesaththaip paalaakki vidumpatikkuch singam than putharilirunthu elumpi, jaathikalaich sangarikkiravan than sthaanaththilirunthu purappattu varukiraan; un pattanangal kutiyiraathapati alikkappadum enkiraar. The lion is come up from his thicket, and the destroyer of the Gentiles is on his way; he is gone forth from his place to make thy land desolate; and thy cities shall be laid waste, without an inhabitant.

8 Ithinimiththam irattaைk kattikkollungal; pulampi alaraுngal; karththarutaiya ukkirakopam nammaivittuth thirumpavillaiyae. For this gird you with sackcloth, lament and howl: for the fierce anger of the LORD is not turned back from us.

9 Annaalilae raajaavin iruthayamum, pirapukkalin iruthayamum matinthupom; aasaariyarkal thidukkittu, theerkkatharisikal thikaippaarkal entu Karththar sollukiraar. And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

10 Appoluthu naan: aa! Karththaraakiya aanndavarae, ungalukkuch samaathaanamirukkum entu sonnathinaal, meyyaakavae intha janaththukkum erusalaemukkum mikuthiyaana mosaththai varappannnnineer; pattayam piraananmattum ettukirathae enten. Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! surely thou hast greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, Ye shall have peace; whereas the sword reacheth unto the soul.

11 Vanaantharaththilulla uyarnilangalilirunthu, oru theekkaattaு en janamaakiya kumaaraththikku naeraaka atikkum entu akkaalaththilae intha janaththodum erusalaemodum sollappadum; athu thoottavumaattathu suththikarikkavumaattathu. At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,

12 Ithaippaarkkilum palamaana kaattaு en kaariyamaay varum; ippoluthu naanum avarkalotae niyaayam paesuvaen. Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.

13 Itho, maekangalaippola elumpivarukiraan; avanutaiya irathangal perungaattaைppolirukkirathu; avan kuthiraikal kalukukalilum vaekamaanavaikal; namakku aiyo! Naam paalaakkappadukiromae. Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind: his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe unto us! for we are spoiled.

14 Erusalaemae, nee iratchikkappadumpatikku un iruthayaththaip pollaapparak kaluvu; enthamattum akkirama ninaivukal un ullaththilae thangum. O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

15 Thaannilirunthu oru saththam vanthu, seythiyai arivikkirathu; eppiraayeemin malaiyilirunthu vanthu, theengaip pirasiththampannnukirathu. For a voice declareth from Dan, and publisheth affliction from mount Ephraim.

16 Jaathikalukku athai neengal pirasthaapampannnungal; itho, kaavarsevakar thoorathaesaththilirunthu vanthu, yoothaavutaiya pattanangalukku virothamaay uraththasaththamiduvaarkal entu erusalaemukkuk kooraுngal. Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.

17 Atharku virothamaay avarkal vayalvelikalin kaavarkaararaippolach suttilumiruppaarkal; athu enakku virothamaayk kalakanjaெythathu entu Karththar sollukiraar. As keepers of a field, are they against her round about; because she hath been rebellious against me, saith the LORD.

18 Un nadakkaiyum un kiriyaikalumae ivaikalai unakku naeridappannnnina; ithu iththanai kasappaayirunthu, un iruthayamattum ettukiratharkuk kaaranam un pollaappuththaanae. Thy way and thy doings have procured these things unto thee; this is thy wickedness, because it is bitter, because it reacheth unto thine heart.

19 En kudalkal, en kudalkalae Nnokirathu; en ullam vaethanaippadukirathu, en iruthayam ennil katharaுkirathu; naan paesaamal amarnthirukkak koodaathu; en aaththumaavae, ekkaalaththin saththaththaiyum, yuththaththin aarpparippaiyum kaettayae. My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart; my heart maketh a noise in me; I cannot hold my peace, because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war.

20 Naasaththukkumael naasam varukirathaakak koorappadukirathu; thaesamellaam paalaakirathu; asuppilae en koodaarangalum, oru nimishaththilae en thiraikalum paalaakkappadukirathu. Destruction upon destruction is cried; for the whole land is spoiled: suddenly are my tents spoiled, and my curtains in a moment.

21 Naan ethuvaraikkum kotiyaikkanndu, ekkaalaththin saththaththaik kaetpaen. How long shall I see the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet?

22 En janangalo mathiyattavarkal, ennai avarkal ariyaathirukkiraarkal, avarkal paiththiyamulla pillaikal, avarkalukku unarvae illai; pollaappuchcheyya avarkal arivaalikal, nanmaiseyyavo avarkal arivillaathavarkal. 23 Poomiyaip paarththaen, athu olunginmaiyum veraுmaiyumaayirunthathu; vaanangalaip paarththaen, avaikalukku oliyillaathirunthathu. I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.

24 Parvathangalaip paarththaen, avaikal athirnthana; ellaak kuntukalum asainthana. I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.

25 Pinnum naan paarkakumpothu, manushanillai; aakaasaththup paravaikalellaam paranthupoyina. I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.

26 Pinnum naan paarkkumpothu, karththaraalum, avarutaiya ukkirakopaththaalum payirnilam vanaantharamaayittaு; athin pattanangalellaam itinthupoyina. I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger.

27 Thaesamellaam paalaayppom; aakilum sarvasangaaram seyyaen entu Karththar sollukiraar. For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.

28 Ithinimiththam poomi pulampum, uyara irukkira vaanangal karaுththuppom; naan athaich sonnaen, athai nirnayam pannnninaen; naan manasthaapappaduvathum illai; naan athaivittuth thirumpuvathum illai. For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

29 Kuthiraiveerarum vilveerarum idum saththaththinaalae sakala ooraarum oti, adarththiyaana kaadukalil pukunthu, kanmalaikalilum aeraுvaarkal; oru manushanum avaikalilae kutiyiraathapati ellaa oorkalum vidappattirukkum. The whole city shall flee for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein.

30 Paalaayppona nee ippoluthu enna seyvaay? Nee iraththaamparam uduththaalum, ponnaaparanangalaal unnaich singaariththaalum, un kannkalil maiyittukkonndaalum, veennaay unnai alakupaduththuvaay; soranaayakar unnai asattaைpannnni, un piraananai vaangath thaeduvaarkal. And when thou art spoiled, what wilt thou do? 31 Karppavaethanaippadukiravalin saththamaakavum, muthalvisai pillai peraுkiravalin viyaakulamaakavum, seeyon kumaaraththiyin saththaththaik kaetkiraேn; aval perumoochchuvittu, than kaikalai viriththu: aiyo! Kolaipaathakarkalaalae en aaththumaa sornthupokirathae enkiraal.
