Job 28 in Tamil

1 வெள்ளிக்கு விளைவிடம் உண்டு, பொன்னுக்குப் புடமிடும் ஸ்தலமுமுண்டு. Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.

2 இரும்பு மண்ணிலிருந்து எடுக்கப்படும்; செம்பு கற்களில் உருக்கி எடுக்கப்படும். Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.

3 மனிதன் அந்தகாரத்திலும் மரண இருளிலும் இருக்கிற கற்களைக் கடையாந்தரமட்டும் ஆராய்ந்து தேடி, இருளுக்கும் அங்கே முடிவுண்டாக்குகிறான் He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.

4 கடக்கக் கூடாததும் நிலையாததுமான ஆறு எழும்பினாலும், உழைப்பாளியானவன் அதை மனுஷரால் வற்றிப்போகப்பண்ணிச் செல்லுகிறான். The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.

5 பூமியின்மேல் ஆகாரம் விளையும், அதின் கீழிடங்களிலிருக்கிறவைகளோ, அக்கினியால் மாறினதுபோலிருக்கும். As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.

6 அதின் கல்லுகளில் இந்திரநீலம் விளையும்; அதின் பொடியில் பொன் பொடிகளும் உண்டாயிருக்கும். The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold.

7 ஒரு வழியுண்டு, அது ஒரு பட்சிக்கும் தெரியாது; வல்லுூறின் கண்ணும் அதைக் கண்டதில்லை; There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:

8 துஷ்டமிருகங்களின் கால் அதில் படவில்லை; சிங்கம் அதைக் கடந்ததில்லை. The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.

9 அவன் தன் கைகளைக் கற்பாறையின்மேல் நீட்டி, மலைகளை வேரோடே புரட்டுகிறான். He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.

10 கன்மலைகளுக்குள்ளும் நீர்க்கால்களை வெட்டுகிறான்; அவன் கண் விலையுயர்ந்த எல்லாவற்றையும் காணும். He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.

11 ஒரு துளியும் கசியாதபடி ஆறுகளை அடைக்கிறான்; மறைவிடத்திலிருக்கிறதை வெளிச்சத்திலே கொண்டுவருகிறான். He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.

12 ஆனாலும் ஞானம் கண்டெடுக்கப்படுவது எங்கே? புத்தி விளையாடுகிற இடம் எது? But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?

13 அதின் விலை மனுஷனுக்குத் தெரியாது; அது ஜீவனுள்ளோருடைய தேசத்திலே அகப்படுகிறதில்லை. Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

14 ஆழமானது: அது என்னிடத்தில் இல்லையென்கிறது; சமுத்திரமானதும், அது என்னிடத்தில் இல்லையென்கிறது. The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.

15 அதற்கு ஈடாகத் தங்கத்தைக் கொடுக்கவும், அதற்குக் கிரயமாக வெள்ளியை நிறுக்கவும் கூடாது. It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

16 ஓப்பீரின் தங்கமும், விலையேறப்பெற்ற கோமேதகமும் இந்திர நீலக்கல்லும் அதற்கு ஈடல்ல. It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

17 பொன்னும் பளிங்கும் அதற்கு ஒப்பல்ல; பசும்பொன்னாபரணங்களுக்கு அதை மாற்றக் கூடாது. The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

18 பவளத்தையும் ஸ்படிகத்தையும் அத்தோடே ஒப்பிட்டுப் பேசலாகாது; முத்துக்களைப்பார்க்கிலும் ஞானத்தின் விலை உயர்ந்தது. No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

19 எத்தியோப்பியாவின் புஷ்பராகம் அதற்கு நிகரல்ல; பசும்பொன்னும் அதற்குச் சரியல்ல. The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

20 இப்படியிருக்க, ஞானம் எங்கேயிருந்து வரும்; புத்தி தங்கும் இடம் எங்கே? Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?

21 அது ஜீவனுள்ள சகலருடைய கண்களுக்கும் ஒளித்தும், ஆகாயத்துப்பறவைகளுக்கு மறைந்தும் இருக்கிறது. Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.

22 நாசமும் மரணமும், நாங்கள் எங்கள் காதுகளினாலேமாத்திரம் அதின் கீர்த்தியைக் கேட்டோம் என்கிறது. Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

23 தேவனோ அதின் வழியை அறிவார், அதின் ஸ்தானம் அவருக்கே தெரியும். God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.

24 அவர் பூமியின் கடையாந்தரங்களைப் பார்த்து, வானங்களின்கீழ் இருக்கிறதையெல்லாம் காண்கிறார். For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;

25 அவர் காற்றுக்கு அதின் நிறையை நியமித்து, ஜலத்துக்கு அதின் அளவைப் பிரமாணித்து, To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.

26 மழைக்குத் திட்டத்தையும், இடிமுழக்கத்தோடே கூடிய மின்னலுக்கு வழியையும் ஏற்படுத்துகிறார். When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:

27 அவர் அதை பார்த்துக் கணக்கிட்டார்; அதை ஆராய்ந்து ஆயத்தப்படுத்தி, Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.

28 மனுஷனை நோக்கி: இதோ, ஆண்டவருக்குப் பயப்படுவதே ஞானம்; பொல்லாப்பை விட்டு விலகுவதே புத்தி என்றார் என்று சொன்னான். And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

1 Vellikku vilaividam unndu, ponnukkup pudamidum sthalamumunndu. Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.

2 Irumpu mannnnilirunthu edukkappadum; sempu karkalil urukki edukkappadum. Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.

3 Manithan anthakaaraththilum marana irulilum irukkira karkalaik kataiyaantharamattum aaraaynthu thaeti, irulukkum angae mutivunndaakkukiraan He setteth an end to darkness, and searcheth out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.

4 Kadakkak koodaathathum nilaiyaathathumaana aaraு elumpinaalum, ulaippaaliyaanavan athai manusharaal vattippokappannnnich sellukiraan. The flood breaketh out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.

5 Poomiyinmael aakaaram vilaiyum, athin geelidangalilirukkiravaikalo, akkiniyaal maarinathupolirukkum. As for the earth, out of it cometh bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.

6 Athin kallukalil inthiraneelam vilaiyum; athin potiyil pon potikalum unndaayirukkum. The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold.

7 Oru valiyunndu, athu oru patchikkum theriyaathu; valluூrin kannnum athaik kanndathillai; There is a path which no fowl knoweth, and which the vulture's eye hath not seen:

8 Thushdamirukangalin kaal athil padavillai; singam athaik kadanthathillai. The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.

9 Avan than kaikalaik karpaaraiyinmael neetti, malaikalai vaerotae purattukiraan. He putteth forth his hand upon the rock; he overturneth the mountains by the roots.

10 Kanmalaikalukkullum neerkkaalkalai vettukiraan; avan kann vilaiyuyarntha ellaavattaைyum kaanum. He cutteth out rivers among the rocks; and his eye seeth every precious thing.

11 Oru thuliyum kasiyaathapati aaraுkalai ataikkiraan; maraividaththilirukkirathai velichchaththilae konnduvarukiraan. He bindeth the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid bringeth he forth to light.

12 Aanaalum njaanam kanndedukkappaduvathu engae? Puththi vilaiyaadukira idam ethu? But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?

13 Athin vilai manushanukkuth theriyaathu; athu jeevanullorutaiya thaesaththilae akappadukirathillai. Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

14 Aalamaanathu: athu ennidaththil illaiyenkirathu; samuththiramaanathum, athu ennidaththil illaiyenkirathu. The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.

15 Atharku eedaakath thangaththaik kodukkavum, atharkuk kirayamaaka velliyai niraுkkavum koodaathu. It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

16 Oppeerin thangamum, vilaiyaerappetta komaethakamum inthira neelakkallum atharku eedalla. It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

17 Ponnum palingum atharku oppalla; pasumponnaaparanangalukku athai maattak koodaathu. The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

18 Pavalaththaiyum spatikaththaiyum aththotae oppittup paesalaakaathu; muththukkalaippaarkkilum njaanaththin vilai uyarnthathu. No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

19 Eththiyoppiyaavin pushparaakam atharku nikaralla; pasumponnum atharkuch sariyalla. The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

20 Ippatiyirukka, njaanam engaeyirunthu varum; puththi thangum idam engae? Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?

21 Athu jeevanulla sakalarutaiya kannkalukkum oliththum, aakaayaththupparavaikalukku marainthum irukkirathu. Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.

22 Naasamum maranamum, naangal engal kaathukalinaalaemaaththiram athin geerththiyaik kaettaோm enkirathu. Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

23 Thaevano athin valiyai arivaar, athin sthaanam avarukkae theriyum. God understandeth the way thereof, and he knoweth the place thereof.

24 Avar poomiyin kataiyaantharangalaip paarththu, vaanangalingeel irukkirathaiyellaam kaannkiraar. For he looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven;

25 Avar kaattaுkku athin niraiyai niyamiththu, jalaththukku athin alavaip piramaanniththu, To make the weight for the winds; and he weigheth the waters by measure.

26 Malaikkuth thittaththaiyum, itimulakkaththotae kootiya minnalukku valiyaiyum aerpaduththukiraar. When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:

27 Avar athai paarththuk kanakkittar; athai aaraaynthu aayaththappaduththi, Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.

28 Manushanai Nnokki: itho, aanndavarukkup payappaduvathae njaanam; pollaappai vittu vilakuvathae puththi entar entu sonnaan. And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
