கர்த்தர் இஸ்ரவேலின் மேல் கோபமூண்டவராகி, அவர்களை மெசொப்பொத்தாமியாவின் ராஜாவாகிய கூசான்ரிஷதாயீமின் கையிலே விற்றுப்போட்டார்; இப்படியே இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் கூசான்ரிஷதாயீமை எட்டு வருஷம் சேவித்தார்கள்.
