Matthew 12 in Tamil

1 அக்காலத்திலே, இயேசு ஓய்வு நாளில் பயிர்வழியே போனார்; அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் பசியாயிருந்து, கதிர்களைக் கொய்து, தின்னத் தொடங்கினார்கள். At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.

2 பரிசேயர் அதைக்கண்டு, அவரை நோக்கி: இதோ ஒய்வு நாளில் செய்யத்தகாததை உம்முடைய சீஷர்கள் செய்கிறார்களே என்றார்கள். But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

3 அதற்கு அவர்: தாவீதும் அவனோடிருந்தவர்களும் பசியாயிருந்தபோது செய்ததை நீங்கள் வாசிக்கவில்லையா? But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

4 அவன் தேவனுடைய வீட்டில் பிரவேசித்து, ஆசாரியர் தவிர வேறொருவரும் புசிக்கத்தகாத தேவசமுகத்து அப்பங்களைத் தானும் தன்னோடிருந்தவர்களும் புசித்தார்களே. How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

5 அன்றியும், ஓய்வு நாட்களில் ஆசாரியர்கள் தேவாலயத்தில் ஓய்ந்திராமல், ஓய்வு நாளை வேலை நாளாக்கினாலும் குற்றமில்லாதிருக்கிறார்கள் என்று நீங்கள் வேதத்திலே வாசிக்கவில்லையா? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

6 தேவாலயத்திலும் பெரியவர் இங்கே இருக்கிறார் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

7 பலியையல்ல இரக்கத்தையே விரும்புகிறேன் என்பதின் கருத்து இன்னதென்று நீங்கள் அறிந்தீர்களானால், குற்றமில்லாதவர்களை நீங்கள் குற்றப்படுத்தமாட்டீர்கள். But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

8 மனுஷகுமாரன் ஓய்வுநாளுக்கும் ஆண்டவராய் இருக்கிறார் என்றார். For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

9 அவர் அவ்விடம் விட்டுப்போய், அவர்களுடைய ஜெப ஆலயத்தில் பிரவேசித்தார். And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

10 அங்கே சூம்பின கையையுடைய மனுஷன் ஒருவன் இருந்தான். அப்பொழுது அவர்மேல் குற்றஞ்சாட்டும்படிக்கு: ஓய்வு நாளில் சொஸ்தமாக்குகிறது நியாயமா? என்று கேட்டார்கள். And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

11 அதற்கு அவர்: உங்களில் எந்த மனுஷனுக்காகிலும் ஒரு ஆடு இருந்து, அது ஓய்வுநாளில் குழியிலே விழுந்தால், அதைப்பிடித்துத் தூக்கிவிடமாட்டானோ? And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

12 ஆட்டைப்பார்க்கிலும் மனுஷனானவன் எவ்வளவோ விசேஷித்திருக்கிறான்! ஆதலால் ஓய்வுநாளிலே நன்மை செய்வது நியாயந்தான் என்று சொன்னார். How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

13 பின்பு அந்த மனுஷனை நோக்கி: உன் கையை நீட்டு என்றார். அவன் நீட்டினான்; அது மறுகையைப்போல சொஸ்தமாயிற்று. Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

14 அப்பொழுது, பரிசேயர் வெளியேபோய், அவரைக் கொலை செய்யும்படி அவருக்கு விரோதமாய் ஆலோசனைபண்ணினார்கள். Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

15 இயேசு அதை அறிந்து, அவ்விடம் விட்டு விலகிப்போனார். திரளான ஜனங்கள் அவருக்குப் பின்சென்றார்கள்; அவர்களெல்லாரையும் அவர் சொஸ்தமாக்கி, But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

16 தம்மைப் பிரசித்தம்பண்ணாதபடி அவர்களுக்குக் கண்டிப்பாய்க் கட்டளையிட்டார். And charged them that they should not make him known:

17 ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசியின் மூலமாய் உரைக்கப்பட்டது நிறைவேறும்படி இப்படி நடந்தது. அவன் உரைத்ததாவது: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

18 இதோ, நான் தெரிந்துகொண்ட என்னுடைய தாசன், என் ஆத்துமாவுக்குப் பிரியமாயிருக்கிற என்னுடைய நேசன்; என் ஆவியை அவர்மேல் அமரப்பண்ணுவேன், அவர் புறஜாதியாருக்கு நியாயத்தை அறிவிப்பார். Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

19 வாக்குவாதம் செய்யவுமாட்டார், கூக்குரலிடவுமாட்டார்; அவருடைய சத்தத்தை ஒருவனும் வீதிகளில் கேட்பதுமில்லை. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

20 அவர் நியாயத்திற்கு ஜெயங்கிடைக்கப்பண்ணுகிறவரைக்கும், நெரிந்தநாணலை முறிக்காமலும், மங்கி எரிகிற திரியை அணைக்காமலும் இருப்பார். A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

21 அவருடைய நாமத்தின்மேல் புறஜாதியார் நம்பிக்கையாயிருப்பார்கள் என்பதே. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

22 அப்பொழுது பிசாசு பிடித்த குருடும் ஊமையுமான ஒருவன் அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டுவரப்பட்டான்; குருடும் ஊமையுமானவன் பேசவுங் காணவுந்தக்கதாக அவனைச் சொஸ்தமாக்கினார். Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

23 ஜனங்களெல்லாரும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: தாவீதின் குமாரன் இவர்தானோ? என்றார்கள். And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

24 பரிசேயர் அதைக்கேட்டு: இவன் பெயல்செபூலினாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்துகிறானேயல்லாமல் மற்றப்படியல்ல என்றார்கள். But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

25 இயேசு அவர்களுடைய சிந்தனைகளை அறிந்து, அவர்களை நோக்கி: தனக்குத்தானே விரோதமாய்ப் பிரிந்திருக்கிற எந்த ராஜ்யமும் பாழாய்ப்போம்; தனக்குத்தானே விரோதமாய் பிரிந்திருக்கிற எந்த பட்டணமும் எந்த வீடும் நிலைநிற்கமாட்டாது. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 சாத்தானைச் சாத்தான் துரத்தினால் தனக்கு விரோதமாகத் தானே பிரிவினை செய்கிறதாயிருக்குமே; அப்படிச் செய்தால் அவன் ராஜ்யம் எப்படி நிலைநிற்கும்? And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

27 நான் பெயல்செபூலினாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்தினால், உங்கள் பிள்ளைகள் அவைகளை யாராலே துரத்துகிறார்கள்? ஆகையால், அவர்களே உங்களை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிறவர்களாயிருப்பார்கள். And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

28 நான் தேவனுடைய ஆவியினாலே பிசாசுகளைத் துரத்துகிறபடியால், தேவனுடைய ராஜ்யம் உங்களிடத்தில் வந்திருக்கிறதே. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

29 அன்றியும் பலவானை முந்திக் கட்டினாலொழியப் பலவானுடைய வீட்டுக்குள் ஒருவன் புகுந்து, அவன் உடைமைகளை எப்படிக் கொள்ளையிடக்கூடும்? கட்டினானேயாகில், அவன் வீட்டைக் கொள்ளையிடலாம். Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

30 என்னோடே இராதவன் எனக்கு விரோதியாயிருக்கிறான்; என்னோடே சேர்க்காதவன் சிதறடிக்கிறான். He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

31 ஆதலால், நான் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன்: எந்தப்பாவமும் எந்தத் தூஷணமும் மன்னிக்கப்படும்; ஆவியானவருக்கு விரோதமான தூஷணமோ மனுஷருக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 எவனாகிலும் மனுஷகுமரனுக்கு விரோதமான வார்த்தை சொன்னால் அது அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படும்; எவனாகிலும் பரிசுத்த ஆவிக்கு விரோதமாகப் பேசினால் அது இம்மையிலும் மறுமையிலும் அவனுக்கு மன்னிக்கப்படுவதில்லை. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

33 மரம் நல்லதென்றால், அதின் கனியும் நல்லதென்று சொல்லுங்கள்; மரம் கெட்டதென்றால், அதின் கனியும் கெட்டதென்று சொல்லுங்கள்; மரமானது அதின் கனியினால் அறியப்படும். Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

34 விரியன் பாம்புக் குட்டிகளே, நீங்கள் பொல்லாதவர்களாயிருக்க, நலமானவைகளை எப்படி பேசுவீர்கள்? இருதயத்தின் நிறைவினால் வாய் பேசும். O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35 நல்ல மனுஷன் இருதமாகிய நல்ல பொக்கிஷத்திலிருந்து நல்லவைகளை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறான், பொல்லாத மனுஷன் பொல்லாத பொக்கிஷத்திலிருந்து பொல்லாதவைகளை எடுத்துக்காட்டுகிறான். A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 மனுஷர் பேசும் வீணான வார்த்தைகள் யாவையும் குறித்து நியாயதீர்ப்புநாளிலே கணக்கொப்புவிக்கவேண்டும் என்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 ஏனெனில், உன் வார்த்தைகளினாலே நீதிமான் என்று தீர்க்கப்படுவாய்; அல்லது உன் வார்த்தைகளினாலே குற்றவாளி என்று தீர்கப்படுவாய் என்றார். For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

38 அப்பொழுது வேதபாரகரிலும் பரிசேயரிலும் சிலர் அவரை நோக்கி: போதகரே, உம்மால் ஒரு அடையாளத்தைக் காண விரும்புகிறோம் என்றார்கள். Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

39 அவர்களுக்குப் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: இந்தப் பொல்லாத விபசாரச் சந்ததியார் அடையாளத்தைத் தேடுகிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் யோனா தீர்க்கத்தரிசியின் அடையாளமேயன்றி வேறே அடையாளம் இவர்களுக்குக் கொடுக்கப்படுவதில்லை. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

40 யோனா இரவும் பகலும் மூன்றுநாள் ஒரு பெரிய மீனின் வயிற்றில் இருந்தது போல, மனுஷகுமாரனும் இரவும் பகலும் மூன்றுநாள் பூமியின் இருதயத்தில் இருப்பார். For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

41 யோனாவின் பிரசங்கத்தைக் கேட்டு நினிவே பட்டணத்தார் மனந்திரும்பினார்கள். இதோ, யோனாவிலும் பெரியவர் இங்கே இருக்கிறார். ஆதலால் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புநாளிலே நினிவே பட்டணத்தார் இந்தச் சந்ததியாரோடெழுந்து நின்று இவர்கள்மேல் குற்றஞ்சுமத்துவார்கள். The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

42 தென்தேசத்து ராஜஸ்திரீ பூமியின் எல்லைகளிருந்து சாலொமோனுடைய ஞானத்தைக் கேட்க வந்தாள். இதோ, சாலொமோனிலும் பெரியவர் இங்கே இருக்கிறார். ஆதலால் நியாயத்தீர்ப்புநாளிலே அந்த ராஜஸ்திரீ இந்தச் சந்ததியாரோடெழுந்து நின்று இவர்கள்மேல் குற்றஞ்சுமத்துவாள். The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

43 அசுத்த ஆவி ஒரு மனுஷனை விட்டுப் புறப்படும்போது, வறண்ட இடங்களில் அலைந்து, இளைப்பாறுதல் தேடியும் கண்டடையாமல்: When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 நான் விட்டு வந்த வீட்டுக்குத் திரும்பிப் போவேன் என்று சொல்லி; அங்கே வந்து, அந்த வீடு வெறுமையாகவும், பெருக்கி, ஜோடிக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் இருக்கக்கண்டு, Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

45 திரும்பிப்போய், தன்னிலும் பொல்லாத வேறு ஏழு ஆவிகளைத் தன்னோடே கூட்டிக்கொண்டுவந்து, உட்புகுந்து அங்கே குடியிருக்கும்; அப்பொழுது, அந்த மனுஷனுடைய முன்னிலைமையிலும் அவன் பின்னிலைமை அதிக கேடுள்ளதாயிருக்கும்; அப்படியே இந்தப் பொல்லாத சந்ததியாருக்கும் சம்பவிக்கும் என்றார். Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

46 இப்படி அவர் ஜனங்களோடே பேசுகையில், அவருடைய தாயாரும் சகோதரரும் அவரிடத்தில் பேசவேண்டுமென்று வெளியே நின்றார்கள். While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 அப்பொழுது, ஒருவன் அவரை நோக்கி: உம்முடைய தாயாரும் உம்முடைய சகோதரரும் உம்மோடே பேசவேண்டுமென்று வெளியே நிற்கிறார்கள் என்றான். Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 தம்மிடத்தில் இப்படிச் சொன்னவனுக்கு அவர் பிரதியுத்தரமாக: என் தாயார் யார்? என் சகோதரர் யார்? என்று சொல்லி, But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 தம்முடைய கையைத் தமது சீஷர்களுக்கு நேரே நீட்டி: இதோ, என் தாயும் என் சகோதரரும் இவர்களே! And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 பரலோகத்திலிருக்கிற என் பிதாவின் சித்தத்தின்படி செய்கிறவன் எவனோ அவனே எனக்குச் சகோதரனும் சகோதரியும் தாயுமாய் இருக்கிறான் என்றார். For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

1 Akkaalaththilae, Yesu oyvu naalil payirvaliyae ponaar; avarutaiya seesharkal pasiyaayirunthu, kathirkalaik koythu, thinnath thodanginaarkal. At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.

2 Pariseyar athaikkanndu, avarai Nnokki: itho oyvu naalil seyyaththakaathathai ummutaiya seesharkal seykiraarkalae entarkal. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

3 Atharku avar: Davidm avanotirunthavarkalum pasiyaayirunthapothu seythathai neengal vaasikkavillaiyaa? But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him;

4 Avan thaevanutaiya veettil piravaesiththu, aasaariyar thavira vaeroruvarum pusikkaththakaatha thaevasamukaththu appangalaith thaanum thannotirunthavarkalum pusiththaarkalae. How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

5 Antiyum, oyvu naatkalil aasaariyarkal thaevaalayaththil oynthiraamal, oyvu naalai vaelai naalaakkinaalum kuttamillaathirukkiraarkal entu neengal vaethaththilae vaasikkavillaiyaa? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

6 Thaevaalayaththilum periyavar ingae irukkiraar entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

7 Paliyaiyalla irakkaththaiyae virumpukiraேn enpathin karuththu innathentu neengal arintheerkalaanaal, kuttamillaathavarkalai neengal kuttappaduththamaattirkal. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

8 Manushakumaaran oyvunaalukkum aanndavaraay irukkiraar entar. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

9 Avar avvidam vittuppoy, avarkalutaiya jepa aalayaththil piravaesiththaar. And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

10 Angae soompina kaiyaiyutaiya manushan oruvan irunthaan. Appoluthu avarmael kuttanjaattumpatikku: oyvu naalil sosthamaakkukirathu niyaayamaa? Entu kaettarkal. And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

11 Atharku avar: ungalil entha manushanukkaakilum oru aadu irunthu, athu oyvunaalil kuliyilae vilunthaal, athaippitiththuth thookkividamaattano? And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

12 Aattaைppaarkkilum manushanaanavan evvalavo viseshiththirukkiraan! Aathalaal oyvunaalilae nanmai seyvathu niyaayanthaan entu sonnaar. How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

13 Pinpu antha manushanai Nnokki: un kaiyai neettu entar. Avan neettinaan; athu maraுkaiyaippola sosthamaayittaு. Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

14 Appoluthu, pariseyar veliyaepoy, avaraik kolai seyyumpati avarukku virothamaay aalosanaipannnninaarkal. Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.

15 Yesu athai arinthu, avvidam vittu vilakipponaar. Thiralaana janangal avarukkup pinsentarkal; avarkalellaaraiyum avar sosthamaakki, But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;

16 Thammaip pirasiththampannnnaathapati avarkalukkuk kanntippaayk kattalaiyittar. And charged them that they should not make him known:

17 Aesaayaa theerkkatharisiyin moolamaay uraikkappattathu niraivaeraுmpati ippati nadanthathu. Avan uraiththathaavathu: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

18 Itho, naan therinthukonnda ennutaiya thaasan, en aaththumaavukkup piriyamaayirukkira ennutaiya naesan; en aaviyai avarmael amarappannnuvaen, avar purajaathiyaarukku niyaayaththai arivippaar. Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

19 Vaakkuvaatham seyyavumaattar, kookkuralidavumaattar; avarutaiya saththaththai oruvanum veethikalil kaetpathumillai. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.

20 Avar niyaayaththirku jeyangitaikkappannnukiravaraikkum, nerinthanaanalai murikkaamalum, mangi erikira thiriyai annaikkaamalum iruppaar. A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

21 Avarutaiya naamaththinmael purajaathiyaar nampikkaiyaayiruppaarkal enpathae. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

22 Appoluthu pisaasu pitiththa kurudum oomaiyumaana oruvan avaridaththil konnduvarappattan; kurudum oomaiyumaanavan paesavung kaanavunthakkathaaka avanaich sosthamaakkinaar. Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw.

23 Janangalellaarum aachchariyappattu: thaaveethin kumaaran ivarthaano? Entarkal. And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David?

24 Pariseyar athaikkaettu: ivan peyalsepoolinaalae pisaasukalaith thuraththukiraanaeyallaamal mattappatiyalla entarkal. But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.

25 Yesu avarkalutaiya sinthanaikalai arinthu, avarkalai Nnokki: thanakkuththaanae virothamaayp pirinthirukkira entha raajyamum paalaayppom; thanakkuththaanae virothamaay pirinthirukkira entha pattanamum entha veedum nilainirkamaattathu. And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:

26 Saaththaanaich saaththaan thuraththinaal thanakku virothamaakath thaanae pirivinai seykirathaayirukkumae; appatich seythaal avan raajyam eppati nilainirkum? And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?

27 Naan peyalsepoolinaalae pisaasukalaith thuraththinaal, ungal pillaikal avaikalai yaaraalae thuraththukiraarkal? Aakaiyaal, avarkalae ungalai niyaayantheerkkiravarkalaayiruppaarkal. And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges.

28 Naan thaevanutaiya aaviyinaalae pisaasukalaith thuraththukirapatiyaal, thaevanutaiya raajyam ungalidaththil vanthirukkirathae. But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.

29 Antiyum palavaanai munthik kattinaaloliyap palavaanutaiya veettukkul oruvan pukunthu, avan utaimaikalai eppatik kollaiyidakkoodum? Kattinaanaeyaakil, avan veettaைk kollaiyidalaam. Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.

30 Ennotae iraathavan enakku virothiyaayirukkiraan; ennotae serkkaathavan sitharatikkiraan. He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.

31 Aathalaal, naan ungalukkuch sollukiraேn: enthappaavamum enthath thooshanamum mannikkappadum; aaviyaanavarukku virothamaana thooshanamo manusharukku mannikkappaduvathillai. Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.

32 Evanaakilum manushakumaranukku virothamaana vaarththai sonnaal athu avanukku mannikkappadum; evanaakilum Parisuththa aavikku virothamaakap paesinaal athu immaiyilum maraுmaiyilum avanukku mannikkappaduvathillai. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

33 Maram nallathental, athin kaniyum nallathentu sollungal; maram kettathental, athin kaniyum kettathentu sollungal; maramaanathu athin kaniyinaal ariyappadum. Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

34 Viriyan paampuk kuttikalae, neengal pollaathavarkalaayirukka, nalamaanavaikalai eppati paesuveerkal? Iruthayaththin niraivinaal vaay paesum. O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

35 Nalla manushan iruthamaakiya nalla pokkishaththilirunthu nallavaikalai eduththukkaattukiraan, pollaatha manushan pollaatha pokkishaththilirunthu pollaathavaikalai eduththukkaattukiraan. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

36 Manushar paesum veennaana vaarththaikal yaavaiyum kuriththu niyaayatheerppunaalilae kanakkoppuvikkavaenndum entu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

37 Aenenil, un vaarththaikalinaalae neethimaan entu theerkkappaduvaay; allathu un vaarththaikalinaalae kuttavaali entu theerkappaduvaay entar. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

38 Appoluthu vaethapaarakarilum pariseyarilum silar avarai Nnokki: pothakarae, ummaal oru ataiyaalaththaik kaana virumpukirom entarkal. Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee.

39 Avarkalukkup pirathiyuththaramaaka: inthap pollaatha vipasaarach santhathiyaar ataiyaalaththaith thaedukiraarkal; aanaalum yonaa theerkkaththarisiyin ataiyaalamaeyanti vaeraே ataiyaalam ivarkalukkuk kodukkappaduvathillai. But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas:

40 Yonaa iravum pakalum moontunaal oru periya meenin vayittil irunthathu pola, manushakumaaranum iravum pakalum moontunaal poomiyin iruthayaththil iruppaar. For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

41 Yonaavin pirasangaththaik kaettu ninivae pattanaththaar mananthirumpinaarkal. Itho, yonaavilum periyavar ingae irukkiraar. Aathalaal niyaayaththeerppunaalilae ninivae pattanaththaar inthach santhathiyaarodelunthu nintu ivarkalmael kuttanjumaththuvaarkal. The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: because they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

42 Thenthaesaththu raajasthiree poomiyin ellaikalirunthu saalomonutaiya njaanaththaik kaetka vanthaal. Itho, saalomonilum periyavar ingae irukkiraar. Aathalaal niyaayaththeerppunaalilae antha raajasthiree inthach santhathiyaarodelunthu nintu ivarkalmael kuttanjumaththuvaal. The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

43 Asuththa aavi oru manushanai vittup purappadumpothu, varannda idangalil alainthu, ilaippaaraுthal thaetiyum kanndataiyaamal: When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.

44 Naan vittu vantha veettukkuth thirumpip povaen entu solli; angae vanthu, antha veedu veraுmaiyaakavum, perukki, jotikkappattathaakavum irukkakkanndu, Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

45 Thirumpippoy, thannilum pollaatha vaeraு aelu aavikalaith thannotae koottikkonnduvanthu, utpukunthu angae kutiyirukkum; appoluthu, antha manushanutaiya munnilaimaiyilum avan pinnilaimai athika kaedullathaayirukkum; appatiyae inthap pollaatha santhathiyaarukkum sampavikkum entar. Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

46 Ippati avar janangalotae paesukaiyil, avarutaiya thaayaarum sakothararum avaridaththil paesavaenndumentu veliyae nintarkal. While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 Appoluthu, oruvan avarai Nnokki: ummutaiya thaayaarum ummutaiya sakothararum ummotae paesavaenndumentu veliyae nirkiraarkal entan. Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 Thammidaththil ippatich sonnavanukku avar pirathiyuththaramaaka: en thaayaar yaar? En sakotharar yaar? Entu solli, But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 Thammutaiya kaiyaith thamathu seesharkalukku naerae neetti: itho, en thaayum en sakothararum ivarkalae! And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 Paralokaththilirukkira en pithaavin siththaththinpati seykiravan evano avanae enakkuch sakotharanum sakothariyum thaayumaay irukkiraan entar. For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
