அவனோ சம்மதியாமல், போய், அவன் பட்ட கடனைக் கொடுத்துத் தீர்க்குமளவும் அவனைக் காவலில் போடுவித்தான்.

“ஆனால், முதலாமவன் தான் பொறுத்துக்கொள்ள இயலாதென்றான். அவன் நீதிபதியிடம் மற்றவன் தனக்குப் பணம் தர வேண்டும் என்று கூற இரண்டாமவன் சிறையில் அடைக்கப்பட்டான். அவ்வேலைக்காரன் அவன் தரவேண்டிய பணம் முழுவதையும் கொடுக்கும் வரையிலும் சிறையிலிருக்க நீதிபதி பணித்தார்.
