Psalm 104 in Tamil

1 என் ஆத்துமாவே, கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி; என் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தாவே, நீர் மிகவும் பெரியவராயிருக்கிறீர்; மகிமையையும் மகத்துவத்தையும் அணிந்துகொண்டிருக்கிறீர். Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

2 ஒளியை வஸ்திரமாகத் தரித்து, வானங்களைத் திரையைப்போல் விரித்திருக்கிறீர். Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

3 தமது மேல்வீடுகளைத் தண்ணீர்களால் மச்சுப்பாவி, மேகங்களைத் தமது இரதமாக்கி, காற்றினுடைய செட்டைகளின்மேல் செல்லுகிறார். Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

4 தம்முடைய தூதர்களைக் காற்றுகளாகவும், தம்முடைய ஊழியக்காரரை அக்கினி ஜுவாலைகளாகவும் செய்கிறார். Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

5 பூமி ஒருபோதும் நிலைபேராதபடி அதின் ஆதாரங்கள்மேல் அதை ஸ்தாபித்தார். Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

6 அதை வஸ்திரத்தினால் மூடுவதுபோல ஆழத்தினால் மூடினீர்; பர்வதங்களின்மேல் தண்ணீர்கள் நின்றது. Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

7 அவைகள் உமது கண்டிதத்தால் விலகியோடி, உமது குமுறலின் சத்தத்தால் விரைந்துபோயிற்று. At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

8 அவைகள் மலைகளில் ஏறி, பள்ளத்தாக்குகளில் இறங்கி, நீர் அவைகளுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தின இடத்தில் சென்றது. They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

9 அவைகள் திரும்பவும் வந்து பூமியை மூடிக்கொள்ளாதபடி கடவாதிருக்கும் எல்லையை அவைகளுக்கு ஏற்படுத்தினீர். Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

10 அவர் பள்ளத்தாக்குகளில் ஊற்றுகளை வரவிடுகிறார், அவைகள் மலைகள் நடுவே ஓடுகிறது. He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

11 அவைகள் வெளியின் ஜீவன்களுக்கெல்லாம் தண்ணீர் கொடுக்கும்; அங்கே காட்டுக்கழுதைகள் தங்கள் தாகத்தைத் தீர்த்துக்கொள்ளும். They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

12 அவைகளின் ஓரமாய் ஆகாயத்துப்பறவைகள் சஞ்சரித்து, கிளைகள்மேலிருந்து பாடும். By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

13 தம்முடைய மேல்வீடுகளிலிருந்து பர்வதங்களுக்குத் தண்ணீர் இறைக்கிறார்; உமது கிரியைகளின் பலனாலே பூமி திருப்தியாயிருக்கிறது. He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

14 பூமியிலிருந்து ஆகாரம் உண்டாகும்படி அவர் மிருகங்களுக்குப் புல்லையும் மனுஷருக்கு உபயோகமான பயிர்வகைகளையும் முளைப்பிக்கிறார். He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

15 மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தை மகிழ்ச்சியாக்கும் திராட்சரசத்தையும், அவனுக்கு முகக்களையை உண்டுபண்ணும் எண்ணெயையும், மனுஷனுடைய இருதயத்தை ஆதரிக்கும் ஆகாரத்தையும் விளைவிக்கிறார். And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

16 கர்த்தருடைய விருட்சங்களும், அவர் நாட்டின லீபனோனின் கேதுருக்களும் சாரத்தினால் நிறைந்திருக்கும். The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

17 அங்கே குருவிகள் கூடுகட்டும்; தேவதாருவிருட்சங்கள் கொக்குகளின் குடியிருப்பு. Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

18 உயர்ந்த பர்வதங்கள் வரையாடுகளுக்கும் கன்மலைகள் குழிமுசல்களுக்கும் அடைக்கலம். The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

19 சந்திரனைக் காலக்குறிப்புகளுக்காகப் படைத்தார்; சூரியன் தன் அஸ்தமனத்தை அறியும். He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

20 நீர் இருளைக் கட்டளையிடுகிறீர், இராக்காலமாகும்; அதிலே சகல காட்டு ஜீவன்களும் நடமாடும். Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

21 பாலசிங்கங்கள் இரைக்காக கெர்ச்சித்து, தேவனால் தங்களுக்கு ஆகாரம் கிடைக்கும்படித் தேடும். The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

22 சூரியன் உதிக்கையில் அவைகள் ஒதுங்கி, தங்கள் தாபரங்களில் படுத்துக்கொள்ளும். The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23 அப்பொழுது மனுஷன் சாயங்காலமட்டும் தன் வேலைக்கும், தன்பண்ணைக்கும் புறப்படுகிறான். Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

24 கர்த்தாவே, உமது கிரியைகள் எவ்வளவு திரளாயிருக்கிறது! அவைகளையெல்லாம் ஞானமாய்ப் படைத்தீர்; பூமி உம்முடைய பொருள்களினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது. O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

25 பெரிதும் விஸ்தாரமுமான இந்தச் சமுத்திரமும் அப்படியே நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; அதிலே சஞ்சரிக்கும் சிறியவைகளும் பெரியவைகளுமான எண்ணிறந்த ஜீவன்கள் உண்டு. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26 அதிலே கப்பல்கள் ஓடும்; அதிலே விளையாடும்படி நீர் உண்டாக்கின திமிங்கிலங்களும் உண்டு. There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27 ஏற்றவேளையில் ஆகாரத்தைத் தருவீர் என்று அவைகளெல்லாம் உம்மை நோக்கிக் காத்திருக்கும். These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

28 நீர் கொடுக்க, அவைகள் வாங்கிக்கொள்ளும்; நீர் உம்முடைய கையைத்திறக்க, அவைகள் நன்மையால் திருப்தியாகும். That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

29 நீர் உமது முகத்தை மறைக்க திகைக்கும்; நீர் அவைகளின் சுவாசத்தை வாங்கிக்கொள்ள, அவைகள் மாண்டு தங்கள் மண்ணுக்குத் திரும்பும். Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

30 நீர் உம்முடைய ஆவியை அனுப்பும்போது, அவைகள் சிருஷ்டிக்கப்படும்; நீர் பூமியின் ரூபத்தையும் புதிதாக்குகிறீர். Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

31 கர்த்தருடைய மகிமை என்றென்றைக்கும் விளங்கும்; கர்த்தர் தம்முடைய கிரியைகளிலே மகிழுவார். The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

32 அவர் பூமியை நோக்கிப்பார்க்க அது அதிரும்; அவர் பர்வதங்களைத்தொட அவைகள் புகையும். He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

33 நான் உயிரோடிருக்குமட்டும் என் கர்த்தரைப் பாடுவேன்; நான் உள்ளளவும் என் தேவனைக் கீர்த்தனம்பண்ணுவேன். I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 நான் அவரைத் தியானிக்கும் தியானம் இனிதாயிருக்கும்; நான் கர்த்தருக்குள் மகிழுவேன். My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

35 பாவிகள் பூமியிலிருந்து நிர்மூலமாகி, துன்மார்க்கர் இனி இராமற்போவார்கள். என் ஆத்துமாவே கர்த்தரை ஸ்தோத்திரி, அல்லேலுூயா. Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.

1 En aaththumaavae, karththarai sthoththiri; en thaevanaakiya karththaavae, neer mikavum periyavaraayirukkireer; makimaiyaiyum makaththuvaththaiyum anninthukonntirukkireer. Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

2 Oliyai vasthiramaakath thariththu, vaanangalaith thiraiyaippol viriththirukkireer. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:

3 Thamathu maelveedukalaith thannnneerkalaal machchuppaavi, maekangalaith thamathu irathamaakki, kaattinutaiya settaைkalinmael sellukiraar. Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind:

4 Thammutaiya thootharkalaik kaattaுkalaakavum, thammutaiya ooliyakkaararai akkini juvaalaikalaakavum seykiraar. Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

5 Poomi orupothum nilaipaeraathapati athin aathaarangalmael athai sthaapiththaar. Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

6 Athai vasthiraththinaal mooduvathupola aalaththinaal mootineer; parvathangalinmael thannnneerkal nintathu. Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

7 Avaikal umathu kanntithaththaal vilakiyoti, umathu kumuralin saththaththaal virainthupoyittaு. At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away.

8 Avaikal malaikalil aeri, pallaththaakkukalil irangi, neer avaikalukku aerpaduththina idaththil sentathu. They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them.

9 Avaikal thirumpavum vanthu poomiyai mootikkollaathapati kadavaathirukkum ellaiyai avaikalukku aerpaduththineer. Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

10 Avar pallaththaakkukalil oottaுkalai varavidukiraar, avaikal malaikal naduvae odukirathu. He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

11 Avaikal veliyin jeevankalukkellaam thannnneer kodukkum; angae kaattukkaluthaikal thangal thaakaththaith theerththukkollum. They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

12 Avaikalin oramaay aakaayaththupparavaikal sanjariththu, kilaikalmaelirunthu paadum. By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

13 Thammutaiya maelveedukalilirunthu parvathangalukkuth thannnneer iraikkiraar; umathu kiriyaikalin palanaalae poomi thirupthiyaayirukkirathu. He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

14 Poomiyilirunthu aakaaram unndaakumpati avar mirukangalukkup pullaiyum manusharukku upayokamaana payirvakaikalaiyum mulaippikkiraar. He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

15 Manushanutaiya iruthayaththai makilchchiyaakkum thiraatcharasaththaiyum, avanukku mukakkalaiyai unndupannnum ennnneyaiyum, manushanutaiya iruthayaththai aatharikkum aakaaraththaiyum vilaivikkiraar. And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man's heart.

16 Karththarutaiya virutchangalum, avar naattina leepanonin kaethurukkalum saaraththinaal nirainthirukkum. The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he hath planted;

17 Angae kuruvikal koodukattum; thaevathaaruvirutchangal kokkukalin kutiyiruppu. Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

18 Uyarntha parvathangal varaiyaadukalukkum kanmalaikal kulimusalkalukkum ataikkalam. The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

19 Santhiranaik kaalakkurippukalukkaakap pataiththaar; sooriyan than asthamanaththai ariyum. He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.

20 Neer irulaik kattalaiyidukireer, iraakkaalamaakum; athilae sakala kaattu jeevankalum nadamaadum. Thou makest darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

21 Paalasingangal iraikkaaka kerchchiththu, thaevanaal thangalukku aakaaram kitaikkumpatith thaedum. The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their meat from God.

22 Sooriyan uthikkaiyil avaikal othungi, thangal thaaparangalil paduththukkollum. The sun ariseth, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23 Appoluthu manushan saayangaalamattum than vaelaikkum, thanpannnnaikkum purappadukiraan. Man goeth forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

24 Karththaavae, umathu kiriyaikal evvalavu thiralaayirukkirathu! Avaikalaiyellaam njaanamaayp pataiththeer; poomi ummutaiya porulkalinaal nirainthirukkirathu. O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.

25 Perithum visthaaramumaana inthach samuththiramum appatiyae nirainthirukkirathu; athilae sanjarikkum siriyavaikalum periyavaikalumaana ennnnirantha jeevankal unndu. So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

26 Athilae kappalkal odum; athilae vilaiyaadumpati neer unndaakkina thimingilangalum unndu. There go the ships: there is that leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27 Aettavaelaiyil aakaaraththaith tharuveer entu avaikalellaam ummai Nnokkik kaaththirukkum. These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.

28 Neer kodukka, avaikal vaangikkollum; neer ummutaiya kaiyaiththirakka, avaikal nanmaiyaal thirupthiyaakum. That thou givest them they gather: thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

29 Neer umathu mukaththai maraikka thikaikkum; neer avaikalin suvaasaththai vaangikkolla, avaikal maanndu thangal mannnukkuth thirumpum. Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

30 Neer ummutaiya aaviyai anuppumpothu, avaikal sirushtikkappadum; neer poomiyin roopaththaiyum puthithaakkukireer. Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

31 Karththarutaiya makimai ententaikkum vilangum; Karththar thammutaiya kiriyaikalilae makiluvaar. The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

32 Avar poomiyai Nnokkippaarkka athu athirum; avar parvathangalaiththoda avaikal pukaiyum. He looketh on the earth, and it trembleth: he toucheth the hills, and they smoke.

33 Naan uyirotirukkumattum en karththaraip paaduvaen; naan ullalavum en thaevanaik geerththanampannnuvaen. I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 Naan avaraith thiyaanikkum thiyaanam inithaayirukkum; naan karththarukkul makiluvaen. My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

35 Paavikal poomiyilirunthu nirmoolamaaki, thunmaarkkar ini iraamarpovaarkal. En aaththumaavae karththarai sthoththiri, allaeluூyaa. Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless thou the LORD, O my soul. Praise ye the LORD.
