Psalm 63 in Tamil

1 தேவனே, நீர் என்னுடைய தேவன், அதிகாலமே உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; வறண்டதும் விடாய்த்ததும் தண்ணீரற்றதுமான நிலத்திலே என் ஆத்துமா உம்மேல் தாகமாயிருக்கிறது. என் மாம்சமானது உம்மை வாஞ்சிக்கிறது. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

2 இப்படியே பரிசுத்த ஸ்தலத்தில் உம்மைப்பார்க்க ஆசையாயிருந்து உமது வல்லமையையும் உமது மகிமையையும் கண்டேன். To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

3 ஜீவனைப்பார்க்கிலும் உமது கிருபை நல்லது; என் உதடுகள் உம்மைத் துதிக்கும். Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

4 என் ஜீவனுள்ளமட்டும் நான் உம்மைத் துதித்து, உமது நாமத்தைச் சொல்லிக் கையெடுப்பேன். Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

5 நிணத்தையும் கொழுப்பையும் உண்டதுபோல என் ஆத்துமா திருப்தியாகும்; என் வாய் ஆனந்தக்களிப்புள்ள உதடுகளால் உம்மைப் போற்றும். My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

6 என் படுக்கையின்மேல் நான் உம்மை நினைக்கும்போது இராச்சாமங்களில் உம்மைத் தியானிக்கிறேன். When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

7 நீர் எனக்குத் துணையாயிருந்ததினால், உமது செட்டைகளின் நிழலிலே களிகூருகிறேன். Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

8 என் ஆத்துமா உம்மைத் தொடர்ந்து பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது; உமது வலதுகரம் என்னைத் தாங்குகிறது. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

9 என் பிராணனை அழிக்கத் தேடுகிறவர்களோ, பூமியின் தாழ்விடங்களில் இறங்குவார்கள். But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

10 அவர்கள் பட்டயத்தால், விழுவார்கள்; நரிகளுக்கு இரையாவார்கள். They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

11 ராஜாவோ தேவனில் களிகூருவார்; அவர்பேரில் சத்தியம்பண்ணுகிறவர்கள் யாவரும் மேன்மைபாராட்டுவார்கள்; பொய் பேசுகிறவர்களின் வாய் அடைக்கப்படும். But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.

1 Thaevanae, neer ennutaiya Dhevan, athikaalamae ummaith thaedukiraேn; varanndathum vidaayththathum thannnneerattathumaana nilaththilae en aaththumaa ummael thaakamaayirukkirathu. En maamsamaanathu ummai vaanjikkirathu. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;

2 Ippatiyae Parisuththa sthalaththil ummaippaarkka aasaiyaayirunthu umathu vallamaiyaiyum umathu makimaiyaiyum kanntaen. To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.

3 Jeevanaippaarkkilum umathu kirupai nallathu; en uthadukal ummaith thuthikkum. Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

4 En jeevanullamattum naan ummaith thuthiththu, umathu naamaththaich sollik kaiyeduppaen. Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.

5 Ninaththaiyum koluppaiyum unndathupola en aaththumaa thirupthiyaakum; en vaay aananthakkalippulla uthadukalaal ummaip pottaுm. My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:

6 En padukkaiyinmael naan ummai ninaikkumpothu iraachchaாmangalil ummaith thiyaanikkiraேn. When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

7 Neer enakkuth thunnaiyaayirunthathinaal, umathu settaைkalin nilalilae kalikoorukiraேn. Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.

8 En aaththumaa ummaith thodarnthu pattikkonntirukkirathu; umathu valathukaram ennaith thaangukirathu. My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.

9 En piraananai alikkath thaedukiravarkalo, poomiyin thaalvidangalil iranguvaarkal. But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

10 Avarkal pattayaththaal, viluvaarkal; narikalukku iraiyaavaarkal. They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.

11 Raajaavo thaevanil kalikooruvaar; avarpaeril saththiyampannnukiravarkal yaavarum maenmaipaaraattuvaarkal; poy paesukiravarkalin vaay ataikkappadum. But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
