அப்படியே ஆமான் வஸ்திரத்தையும் குதிரையையும் கொண்டுபோய், மொர்தெகாயை அலங்கரித்து, அவனைக் குதிரையின்மேல் ஏற்றி, நகரவீதியில் உலாவும் படி செய்து, ராஜா கனம்பண்ண விரும்புகிற மனுஷனுக்கு இப்படியே செய்யப்படும் என்று அவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கூறினான்.

பொருளை வெளிப்படுத்தவும், கடினமானவைகளைத் தெளிவிக்கவும் உன்னாலே முடியுமென்று உன்னைக்குறித்துக் கேள்விப்பட்டேன்; இப்போதும் நீ இந்த எழுத்தை வாசிக்கவும், இதின் அர்த்தத்தை எனக்குத் தெரிவிக்கவும் உன்னாலே முடியுமானால், நீ இரத்தாம்பரமும் கழுத்திலே தங்கச்சங்கிலியும் அணிவிக்கப்பட்டு, ராஜ்ஜியத்திலே மூன்றாம் அதிபதியாக இருப்பாய் என்றான்.

ஒவ்வொரு பொருளின் அர்த்தத்தையும் உன்னால் விளக்க முடியும் என்றும் மிகச் கடினமான பிரச்சனைகளுக்கும் உன்னால் பதில் சொல்ல முடியும் என்றும் நான் உன்னைப்பற்றிக் கேள்விப்பட்டேன். உன்னால் இச்சுவரில் எழுதப்பட்டுள்ளவற்றை வாசித்து அதன் பொருளை எனக்கு விளக்க முடியுமானால் நான் உனக்கு இரத்தாம்பர ஆடையைக் கொடுப்பேன். நான் உனது கழுத்தில் பொன் மாலையை அணிவிப்பேன். பிறகு நீ இந்த இராஜ்யத்தின் மூன்றாவது உயர் ஆளுநராக ஆகலாம் என்றான்.
