Exodus 38:1-8 in Tamil

1 And he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.

2 And he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass.

3 And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the fleshhooks, and the firepans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.

4 And he made for the altar a brasen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.

5 And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grate of brass, to be places for the staves.

6 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass.

7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it withal; he made the altar hollow with boards.

8 And he made the laver of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the lookingglasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

1 கர்த்தர் மோசேயை நோக்கி: நீயும், எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து நீ அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வந்த ஜனங்களும், இவ்விடத்தை விட்டுப் புறப்பட்டு, உன் சந்ததிக்குக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று நான் ஆபிரகாமுக்கும் ஈசாக்குக்கும் யாக்கோபுக்கும் ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடுத்த பாலும் தேனும் ஓடுகிற தேசத்துக்குப் போங்கள்.
And the Lord said unto Moses, Depart, and go up hence, thou and the people which thou hast brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I sware unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto thy seed will I give it:

2 நான் ஒரு தூதனை உங்களுக்கு முன்பாக அனுப்பி, கானானியனையும் எமோரியனையும் ஏத்தியனையும் பெரிசியனையும் ஏவியனையும் எபூசியனையும் துரத்திவிடுவேன்.
And I will send an angel before thee; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:

3 ஆனாலும், வழியிலே நான் உங்களை நிர்மூலம்பண்ணாதபடிக்கு, நான் உங்கள் நடுவே செல்லமாட்டேன், நீங்கள் வணங்காக் கழுத்துள்ள ஜனங்கள் என்றார்.
Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of thee; for thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I consume thee in the way.

4 துக்கமான இவ்வார்த்தைகளை ஜனங்கள் கேட்டபோது, ஒருவரும் தங்கள் ஆபரணங்களைப் போட்டுக்கொள்ளாமல் துக்கித்துக்கொண்டிருந்தார்கள்.
And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.

5 ஏனென்றால், நீங்கள் வணங்காக் கழுத்துள்ள ஜனங்கள், நான் ஒரு நிமிஷத்தில் உங்கள் நடுவில் எழும்பி, உங்களை நிர்மூலம்பண்ணுவேன்; ஆகையால், நீங்கள் போட்டிருக்கிற உங்கள் ஆபரணங்களைக் கழற்றிப்போடுங்கள்; அப்பொழுது நான் உங்களுக்குச் செய்யவேண்டியதை அறிவேன் என்று இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரருக்குச் சொல் என்று கர்த்தர் மோசேயோடே சொல்லியிருந்தார்.
For the Lord had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, Ye are a stiffnecked people: I will come up into the midst of thee in a moment, and consume thee: therefore now put off thy ornaments from thee, that I may know what to do unto thee.

6 ஆகையால், இஸ்ரவேல் புத்திரர் ஓரேப் மலையருகே தங்கள் ஆபரணங்களைக் கழற்றிப்போட்டார்கள்.
And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.
