1 பின்பு அவர் என்னை தேவாலயத்திற்கு அழைத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், தூணாதாரங்களை இந்தப்புறத்தில் ஆறுமுழ அகலமும் அந்தப்புறத்தில் ஆறுமுழ அகலமுமாய் அளந்தார்; அது வாசஸ்தலத்தின் அகல அளவாம்.
2 வாசல் நடையின் அகலம் பத்துமுழமும் வாசல் நடையின் பக்கங்கள் இந்தப்புறத்தில் ஐந்து முழமும் அந்தப் புறத்தில் ஐந்து முழமுமாயிருந்தது; அதின் நீளத்தை நாற்பது முழமும் அகலத்தை இருபது முழமுமாக அளந்தார்.
1 Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.
2 And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.

A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah.
1 हे परमेश्वर, तू मेरा ईश्वर है, मैं तुझे यत्न से ढूंढूंगा; सूखी और निर्जल ऊसर भूमि पर, मेरा मन तेरा प्यासा है, मेरा शरीर तेरा अति अभिलाषी है।
O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
2 इस प्रकार से मैं ने पवित्रास्थान में तुझ पर दृष्टि की, कि तेरी सामर्थ्य और महिमा को देखूं।
To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.
3 क्योंकि तेरी करूणा जीवन से भी उत्तम है मैं तेरी प्रशंसा करूंगा।
Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.
4 इसी प्रकार मैं जीवन भर तुझे धन्य कहता रहूंगा; और तेरा नाम लेकर अपने हाथ उठाऊंगा॥
Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
5 मेरा जीव मानो चर्बी और चिकने भोजन से तृप्त होगा, और मैं जयजयकार करके तेरी स्तुति करूंगा।
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:
6 जब मैं बिछौने पर पड़ा तेरा स्मरण करूंगा, तब रात के एक एक पहर में तुझ पर ध्यान करूंगा;
When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.
7 क्योंकि तू मेरा सहायक बना है, इसलिये मैं तेरे पंखों की छाया में जयजयकार करूंगा।
Because thou hast been my help, therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.
8 मेरा मन तेरे पीछे पीछे लगा चलता है; और मुझे तो तू अपने दाहिने हाथ से थाम रखता है॥
My soul followeth hard after thee: thy right hand upholdeth me.
9 परन्तु जो मेरे प्राण के खोजी हैं, वे पृथ्वी के नीचे स्थानों में जा पड़ेंगे;
But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.
10 वे तलवार से मारे जाएंगे, और गीदड़ों का आहार हो जाएंगे।
They shall fall by the sword: they shall be a portion for foxes.
11 परन्तु राजा परमेश्वर के कारण आनन्दित होगा; जो कोई ईश्वर की शपथ खाए, वह बड़ाई करने पाएगा; परन्तु झूठ बोलने वालों का मुंह बन्द किया जाएगा॥
But the king shall rejoice in God; every one that sweareth by him shall glory: but the mouth of them that speak lies shall be stopped.
