Genesis 25 in Tamil

1 ஆபிரகாம் கேத்தூராள் என்னும் பேர் கொண்ட ஒரு ஸ்திரீயையும் விவாகம்பண்ணியிருந்தான். Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

2 அவள் அவனுக்குச் சிம்ரானையும், யக்ஷானையும், மேதானையும், மீதியானையும், இஸ்பாக்கையும், சூவாகையும் பெற்றாள். And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

3 யக்ஷான் சேபாவையும், தேதானையும் பெற்றான்; தேதானுடைய குமாரர் அசூரீம், லெத்தூசீம், லெயூமீம் என்பவர்கள் And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

4 மீதியானுடைய குமாரர் ஏப்பா, ஏப்பேர், ஆனோக்கு, அபீதா, எல்தாகா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் எல்லாரும் கேத்தூராளின் பிள்ளைகள். And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

5 ஆபிரகாம் தனக்கு உண்டான யாவையும் ஈசாக்குக்குக் கொடுத்தான். And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.

6 ஆபிரகாமுக்கு இருந்த மறுமனையாட்டிகளின் பிள்ளைகளுக்கோ ஆபிரகாம் நன்கொடைகளைக் கொடுத்து, தான் உயிரோடிருக்கும்போதே அவர்களைத் தன் குமாரனாகிய ஈசாக்கைவிட்டுக் கிழக்கே போகக் கீழ்தேசத்துக்கு அனுப்பிவிட்டான். But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

7 ஆபிரகாம் உயிரோடிருந்த ஆயுசு நாட்கள் நூற்று எழுபத்தைந்து வருஷம். And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.

8 பிற்பாடு ஆபிரகாம் நல்ல நரைவயதிலும், முதிர்ந்த பூரண ஆயுசிலும் பிராணன் போய் மரித்து, தன் ஜனத்தாரோடே சேர்க்கப்பட்டான். Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.

9 அவன் குமாரராகிய ஈசாக்கும் இஸ்மவேலும் மம்ரேக்கு எதிரே ஏத்தியனான சோகாரின் குமாரனாகிய எப்பெரோனின் நிலத்திலுள்ள மக்பேலா என்னப்பட்ட குகையிலே அவனை அடக்கம்பண்ணினார்கள். And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;

10 அந்த நிலத்தை ஏத்தின் புத்திரர் கையிலே ஆபிரகாம் வாங்கியிருந்தான்; அங்கே ஆபிரகாமும் அவன் மனைவியாகிய சாராளும் அடக்கம்பண்ணப்பட்டார்கள். The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.

11 ஆபிரகாம் மரித்தபின் தேவன் அவன் குமாரனாகிய ஈசாக்கை ஆசீர்வதித்தார். லகாய்ரோயீ என்னும் துரவுக்குச் சமீபமாய் ஈசாக்கு குடியிருந்தான். And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.

12 சாராளுடைய அடிமைப்பெண்ணாகிய எகிப்து தேசத்தாளான ஆகார் ஆபிரகாமுக்குப் பெற்ற குமாரனாகிய இஸ்மவேலின் வம்ச வரலாறு: Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:

13 பற்பல சந்ததிகளாய்ப் பிரிந்த இஸ்மவேலின் புத்திரருடைய நாமங்களாவன; இஸ்மவேலுடைய மூத்த மகன் நெபாயோத்; பின்பு கேதார், அத்பியேல், மிப்சாம், And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

14 மிஷ்மா, தூமா, மாசா, And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,

15 ஆதார், தேமா, யெத்தூர், நாபீஸ், கேத்மா என்பவைகளே. Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:

16 தங்கள் கிராமங்களிலும் அரண்களிலும் குடியிருந்த தங்கள் ஜனத்தாருக்குப் பன்னிரண்டு பிரபுக்களாகிய இஸ்மவேலின் குமாரர்கள் இவர்களே, இவர்களுடைய நாமங்களும் இவைகளே. These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.

17 இஸ்மவேலின் வயது நூற்று முப்பத்தேழு. பின்பு அவன் பிராணன் போய் மரித்து, தன் ஜனத்தாரோடே சேர்க்கப்பட்டான். And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.

And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.

20 ஈசாக்கு ரெபெக்காளை விவாகம்பண்ணுகிறபோது நாற்பது வயதாயிருந்தான்; இவள் பதான்அராம் என்னும் சீரியா தேசத்தானாகிய லாபானுக்குச் சகோதரியுமானவள். And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.

21 மலடியாயிருந்த தன் மனைவிக்காக ஈசாக்கு கர்த்தரை நோக்கி வேண்டுதல் செய்தான்; கர்த்தர் அவன் வேண்டுதலைக் கேட்டருளினார்; அவன் மனைவி ரெபெக்காள் கர்ப்பந்தரித்தாள். And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

22 அவள் கர்ப்பத்திலே பிள்ளைகள் ஒன்றோடொன்று மோதிக்கொண்டிருந்தன; அப்பொழுது அவள்: இப்படியானால் எனக்கு எப்படியோ என்று சொல்லி, கர்த்தரிடத்தில் விசாரிக்கும்படி போனாள். And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.

23 அதற்குக் கர்த்தர்: இரண்டு ஜாதிகள் உன் கர்ப்பத்தில் உண்டாயிருக்கிறது; இரண்டுவித ஜனங்கள் உன் வயிற்றிலிருந்து பிரியும், அவர்களில் ஒரு ஜனத்தார் மற்ற ஜனத்தாரைப்பார்க்கிலும் பலத்திருப்பார்கள், மூத்தவன் இளையவனைச் சேவிப்பான் என்றார். And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

24 பிரசவகாலம் பூரணமானபோது, அவள் கர்ப்பத்தில் இரட்டைப் பிள்ளைகள் இருந்தது. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.

25 மூத்தவன் சிவந்த நிறமுள்ளவனாயும் சர்வாங்கமும் ரோம அங்கி போர்த்தவன போலவும் வெளிப்பட்டான்; அவனுக்கு ஏசா என்று பேரிட்டார்கள். And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

26 பின்பு, அவன் சகோதரன் தன் கையினாலே ஏசாவின் குதிங்காலைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு வெளிப்பட்டான்; அவனுக்கு யாக்கோபு என்று பேரிட்டார்கள்; இவர்களை அவள் பெற்றபோது ஈசாக்கு அறுபது வயதாயிருந்தான். And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

27 இந்தப் பிள்ளைகள் பெரியவர்களானபோது, ஏசா வேட்டையில் வல்லவனும் வனசஞ்சாரியுமாய் இருந்தான்; யாக்கோபு குணசாலியும் கூடாரவாசியுமாய் இருந்தான். And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.

28 ஏசா வேட்டையாடிக்கொண்டு வருகிறது ஈசாக்கினுடைய வாய்க்கு ருசிகரமாயிருந்ததினாலே ஏசாவின்மேல் பட்சமாயிருந்தான்; ரெபெக்காளோ யாக்கோபின்மேல் பட்சமாயிருந்தாள். And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

29 ஒரு நாள் ஏசா வெளியிலிருந்து களைத்து வந்தபோது, யாக்கோபு கூழ் சமைத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தான். And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:

30 அப்பொழுது ஏசா யாக்கோபை நோக்கி: அந்தச் சிவப்பான கூழிலே நான் சாப்பிடக் கொஞ்சம் தா, இளைத்திருக்கிறேன் என்றான்; இதனாலே அவனுக்கு ஏதோம் என்கிற பேர் உண்டாயிற்று. And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

31 அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு: உன் சேஷ்ட புத்திரபாகத்தை இன்று எனக்கு விற்றுப்போடு என்றான். And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.

32 அதற்கு ஏசா: இதோ, நான் சாகப்போகிறேனே, இந்தச் சேஷ்டபுத்திரபாகம் எனக்கு என்னத்திற்கு என்றான். And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

33 அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு: இன்று எனக்கு ஆணையிட்டுக்கொடு என்றான்; அவன் யாக்கோபுக்கு ஆணையிட்டு, தன் சேஷ்ட புத்திரபாகத்தை அவனுக்கு விற்றுப்போட்டான். And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

34 அப்பொழுது யாக்கோபு ஏசாவுக்கு அப்பத்தையும் பயற்றங்கூழையும் கொடுத்தான்; அவன் புசித்துக் குடித்து எழுந்திருந்து போய்விட்டான். இப்படி ஏசா தன் சேஷ்ட புத்திரபாகத்தை அலட்சியம்பண்ணினான். Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.

1 Abraham kaeththooraal ennum paer konnda oru sthireeyaiyum vivaakampannnniyirunthaan. Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name was Keturah.

2 Aval avanukkuch simraanaiyum, yakshaanaiyum, maethaanaiyum, meethiyaanaiyum, ispaakkaiyum, soovaakaiyum pettaாl. And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

3 Yakshaan sepaavaiyum, thaethaanaiyum pettaாn; thaethaanutaiya kumaarar asooreem, leththooseem, leyoomeem enpavarkal And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

4 Meethiyaanutaiya kumaarar aeppaa, aeppaer, aanokku, apeethaa, elthaakaa enpavarkal; ivarkal ellaarum kaeththooraalin pillaikal. And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abidah, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.

5 Abraham thanakku unndaana yaavaiyum eesaakkukkuk koduththaan. And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.

6 Aapirakaamukku iruntha maraுmanaiyaattikalin pillaikalukko Abraham nankotaikalaik koduththu, thaan uyirotirukkumpothae avarkalaith than kumaaranaakiya eesaakkaivittuk kilakkae pokak geelthaesaththukku anuppivittan. But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

7 Abraham uyirotiruntha aayusu naatkal noottaு elupaththainthu varusham. And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.

8 Pirpaadu Abraham nalla naraivayathilum, muthirntha poorana aayusilum piraanan poy mariththu, than janaththaarotae serkkappattan. Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full of years; and was gathered to his people.

9 Avan kumaararaakiya eesaakkum ismavaelum mamraekku ethirae aeththiyanaana sokaarin kumaaranaakiya epperonin nilaththilulla makpaelaa ennappatta kukaiyilae avanai adakkampannnninaarkal. And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre;

10 Antha nilaththai aeththin puththirar kaiyilae Abraham vaangiyirunthaan; angae aapirakaamum avan manaiviyaakiya saaraalum adakkampannnappattarkal. The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.

11 Abraham mariththapin Dhevan avan kumaaranaakiya eesaakkai aaseervathiththaar. Lakaayroyee ennum thuravukkuch sameepamaay eesaakku kutiyirunthaan. And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.

12 Saaraalutaiya atimaippennnnaakiya ekipthu thaesaththaalaana aakaar aapirakaamukkup petta kumaaranaakiya ismavaelin vamsa varalaaraு: Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham:

13 Parpala santhathikalaayp pirintha ismavaelin puththirarutaiya naamangalaavana; ismavaelutaiya mooththa makan nepaayoth; pinpu kaethaar, athpiyael, mipsaam, And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebajoth; and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

14 Mishmaa, thoomaa, maasaa, And Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,

15 Aathaar, thaemaa, yeththoor, naapees, kaethmaa enpavaikalae. Hadar, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah:

16 Thangal kiraamangalilum arannkalilum kutiyiruntha thangal janaththaarukkup panniranndu pirapukkalaakiya ismavaelin kumaararkal ivarkalae, ivarkalutaiya naamangalum ivaikalae. These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their towns, and by their castles; twelve princes according to their nations.

17 Ismavaelin vayathu noottaு muppaththaelu. Pinpu avan piraanan poy mariththu, than janaththaarotae serkkappattan. And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.

18 Avarkal aavilaa thuvakki ekipthukku ethiraaka aseeriyaavukkup pokira valiyilirukkum soormattum vaasampannnninaarkal. Ithu avan sakotharar ellaarukkum munpaaka avan kutiyaerina poomi. And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: and he died in the presence of all his brethren.

19 Aapirakaamin kumaaranaakiya eesaakkutaiya vamsa varalaaraு; Abraham eesaakkaip pettaாn. And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son: Abraham begat Isaac:

20 Eesaakku repekkaalai vivaakampannnukirapothu naarpathu vayathaayirunthaan; ival pathaanaraam ennum seeriyaa thaesaththaanaakiya laapaanukkuch sakothariyumaanaval. And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.

21 Malatiyaayiruntha than manaivikkaaka eesaakku karththarai Nnokki vaennduthal seythaan; Karththar avan vaennduthalaik kaettarulinaar; avan manaivi repekkaal karppanthariththaal. And Isaac entreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

22 Aval karppaththilae pillaikal ontotontu mothikkonntirunthana; appoluthu aval: ippatiyaanaal enakku eppatiyo entu solli, karththaridaththil visaarikkumpati ponaal. And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If it be so, why am I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.

23 Atharkuk Karththar: iranndu jaathikal un karppaththil unndaayirukkirathu; irannduvitha janangal un vayittilirunthu piriyum, avarkalil oru janaththaar matta janaththaaraippaarkkilum palaththiruppaarkal, mooththavan ilaiyavanaich sevippaan entar. And the LORD said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

24 Pirasavakaalam pooranamaanapothu, aval karppaththil irattaைp pillaikal irunthathu. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.

25 Mooththavan sivantha niramullavanaayum sarvaangamum roma angi porththavana polavum velippattan; avanukku aesaa entu paerittarkal. And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

26 Pinpu, avan sakotharan than kaiyinaalae aesaavin kuthingaalaip pitiththukkonndu velippattan; avanukku yaakkopu entu paerittarkal; ivarkalai aval pettapothu eesaakku araுpathu vayathaayirunthaan. And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau's heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.

27 Inthap pillaikal periyavarkalaanapothu, aesaa vaettaைyil vallavanum vanasanjaariyumaay irunthaan; yaakkopu kunasaaliyum koodaaravaasiyumaay irunthaan. And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a plain man, dwelling in tents.

28 Aesaa vaettaைyaatikkonndu varukirathu eesaakkinutaiya vaaykku rusikaramaayirunthathinaalae aesaavinmael patchamaayirunthaan; repekkaalo yaakkopinmael patchamaayirunthaal. And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

29 Oru naal aesaa veliyilirunthu kalaiththu vanthapothu, yaakkopu kool samaiththukkonntirunthaan. And Jacob sod pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:

30 Appoluthu aesaa yaakkopai Nnokki: anthach sivappaana koolilae naan saappidak konjam thaa, ilaiththirukkiraேn entan; ithanaalae avanukku aethom enkira paer unndaayittaு. And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

31 Appoluthu yaakkopu: un seshda puththirapaakaththai intu enakku vittaுppodu entan. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright.

32 Atharku aesaa: itho, naan saakappokiraேnae, inthach seshdapuththirapaakam enakku ennaththirku entan. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do to me?

33 Appoluthu yaakkopu: intu enakku aannaiyittukkodu entan; avan yaakkopukku aannaiyittu, than seshda puththirapaakaththai avanukku vittaுppottan. And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.

34 Appoluthu yaakkopu aesaavukku appaththaiyum payattangaூlaiyum koduththaan; avan pusiththuk kutiththu elunthirunthu poyvittan. Ippati aesaa than seshda puththirapaakaththai alatchiyampannnninaan. Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birthright.
