લેવીઓને સોંપાયેલા કામ; યાજકોને એટલે હારુનના વંશજોને મંદિરમાં બલિદાનની વિધિમાં મદદ કરવી. આંગણાઓની તેમજ ઓરડાઓની જવાબદારી યહોવાના પવિત્ર મંદિરમાંની પવિત્ર વસ્તુઓના શુદ્ધિકરણમાં મદદ કરવી.
