1 Kings 8:47
જ્યારે તેઓ તે દેશમાં છે જ્યાં તેઓને બંદી તરીકે લઇ જવાયા હતા, જો તેઓ પોતાના દુષ્કૃત્યો અને પાપો વિષે જાણે અને તમાંરી તરફ પાછા વળે અને પ્રાર્થના કરે કે, હે દેવ, અમે ખોટું કર્યુ છે! અમે પાપ કર્યુ છે;
| Yet themselves bethink shall they if | וְהֵשִׁ֙יבוּ֙ | wĕhēšîbû | veh-hay-SHEE-VOO |
| אֶל | ʾel | el | |
| in the land | לִבָּ֔ם | libbām | lee-BAHM |
| whither | בָּאָ֖רֶץ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-rets |
| אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER | |
| they were carried captives, | נִשְׁבּוּ | nišbû | neesh-BOO |
| repent, and | שָׁ֑ם | šām | shahm |
| וְשָׁ֣בוּ׀ | wĕšābû | veh-SHA-voo | |
| and make supplication | וְהִֽתְחַנְּנ֣וּ | wĕhitĕḥannĕnû | veh-hee-teh-ha-neh-NOO |
| unto | אֵלֶ֗יךָ | ʾēlêkā | ay-LAY-ha |
| thee in the land | בְּאֶ֤רֶץ | bĕʾereṣ | beh-EH-rets |
| captives, them carried that them of | שֹֽׁבֵיהֶם֙ | šōbêhem | shoh-vay-HEM |
| saying, | לֵאמֹ֔ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| sinned, have We | חָטָ֥אנוּ | ḥāṭāʾnû | ha-TA-noo |
| and have done perversely, | וְהֶֽעֱוִ֖ינוּ | wĕheʿĕwînû | veh-heh-ay-VEE-noo |
| we have committed wickedness; | רָשָֽׁעְנוּ׃ | rāšāʿĕnû | ra-SHA-eh-noo |
