પલિસ્તીઓએ પાંચ પલિસ્તી શાસનકર્તાઓના કિલ્લાબંધી નગરોની સંખ્યા પ્રમાંણે ઉંદરોના સોનાના નમૂના મોકલ્યા.બેથ-શેમેશના લોકોએ દેવના પવિત્રકોશને ખડક પર મુક્યો. આ ખડક હજી પણ બેથ-શેમેશમાં યહોશુઆનાં ખેતરમાં છે.
