1 Samuel 7:10
શમુએલ દહનાર્પણ કરતો હતો એટલામાં પલિસ્તીઓ ઇસ્રાએલની સાથે લડાઈ કરવા માંટે પાસે આવ્યા; પરંતુ તે દિવસે યહોવાએ પલિસ્તીઓ પર મોટા ધડાકા સાથે ગર્જના કરીને તેઓને હરાવ્યા; તેઓ ઇસ્રાએલીઓ સામે હારીને ભાગી ગયા.

| Israel: against | בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל | bĕyiśrāʾēl | beh-yees-ra-ALE |
| but the Lord | וַיַּרְעֵ֣ם | wayyarʿēm | va-yahr-AME |
| thundered | יְהוָ֣ה׀ | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| with a great | בְּקוֹל | bĕqôl | beh-KOLE |
| thunder | גָּ֠דוֹל | gādôl | ɡA-dole |
| on that | בַּיּ֨וֹם | bayyôm | BA-yome |

| Philistines, the | פְּלִשְׁתִּים֙ | pĕlištîm | peh-leesh-TEEM |
