Deuteronomy 20:19
“કોઈ નગરને જીતી લેવા માંટે લાંબા સમય સુધી ઘેરો ઘાલવો પડે તો, તમાંરે આજુબાજુનાં વૃક્ષોના નાશ ન કરવા, ફળાઉવૃક્ષોનાં ફળ ખાવાં, પરંતુ તે વૃક્ષોનો નાશ ન કરો. વૃક્ષો તમાંરાં દુશ્મનો નથી કે તેમને કાપી નાખવા પડે.
