Exodus 1:8
હવે મિસરમાં એક નવા રાજાનું શાસન શરૂ થયું. તે વ્યક્તિને યૂસફ વિષે કશી જ ખબર નહોતી.

Now there arose up	וַיָּ֥קָם	wayyāqom	va-YA-kome
a new	מֶֽלֶךְ	melek	MEH-lek
king	חָדָ֖שׁ	ḥādāš	ha-DAHSH
over	עַל	ʿal	al
Egypt,	מִצְרָ֑יִם	miṣrāyim	meets-RA-yeem
which	אֲשֶׁ֥ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
knew	לֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
not	יָדַ֖ע	yādaʿ	ya-DA
	אֶת	ʾet	et
Joseph.	יוֹסֵֽף׃	yôsēp	yoh-SAFE
