Exodus 17:1
ઇસ્રાએલના લોકોના સમગ્ર સમાંજે સીનના રણમાંથી છાવણી ઉઠાવીને યહોવાની આજ્ઞા મુજબ યાત્રા કરતા કરતા આગળ વધીને તેમણે રફીદીમમાં છાવણી નાખી રોકાણ કર્યું. પરંતુ ત્યાં લોકોને પીવા માંટે પાણી પણ દુર્લભ હતું.
