Genesis 11:9
તે એ જગ્યા હતી જયાં યહોવાએ આખી પૃથ્વીની ભાષાને ગૂંચવી નાખી હતી. આથી આ જગ્યાનું નામ બાબિલ પડયું. અને અહીંથી જ યહોવાએ એ લોકોને આખી પૃથ્વી પર વિખેરી નાખ્યા હતા.
