Genesis 15:5
પછી દેવ ઇબ્રામને બહાર લઈ ગયા. દેવે કહ્યું, “આકાશને જો, અસંખ્ય તારાઓને જો, એ એટલા બધા છે કે, તું ગણી શકે નહિ . ભવિષ્યમાં તારું કુટુંબ આટલું મોટું થશે.”

| now | הַבֶּט | habbeṭ | ha-BET |
| toward heaven, | נָ֣א | nāʾ | na |
| and tell | הַשָּׁמַ֗יְמָה | haššāmaymâ | ha-sha-MA-ma |
| the stars, | וּסְפֹר֙ | ûsĕpōr | oo-seh-FORE |
| if | הַכּ֣וֹכָבִ֔ים | hakkôkābîm | HA-koh-ha-VEEM |
| thou be able | אִם | ʾim | eem |
| to number | תּוּכַ֖ל | tûkal | too-HAHL |
| said he and them: | לִסְפֹּ֣ר | lispōr | lees-PORE |
| unto him, So | אֹתָ֑ם | ʾōtām | oh-TAHM |
