Genesis 4:11
તેં તારા પોતાના ભાઈની હત્યા કરી છે. અને હવે તારા ભાઈનું રકત તારા હાથથી લેવાને જે ધરતીએ પોતાનું મોં ખોલ્યું છે, તેથી હવે હું આ ભૂમિને ખરાબ કરવાવાળી વસ્તુઓ હું ઉત્પન્ન કરીશ.

| to receive | לָקַ֛חַת | lāqaḥat | la-KA-haht |
| brother's thy | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| דְּמֵ֥י | dĕmê | deh-MAY | |
| blood | אָחִ֖יךָ | ʾāḥîkā | ah-HEE-ha |
| from thy hand; | מִיָּדֶֽךָ׃ | miyyādekā | mee-ya-DEH-ha |
