Isaiah 48:5
તેથી મેં તમને લાંબા સમય પહેલાંથી એ બધું કહી રાખ્યું હતું, જેથી તમે એમ ન કહી શકો કે, ‘આ તો મારી મૂર્તિએ કર્યુ છે, મારી કોતરેલી અને ઢાળેલી મૂર્તિઓના હુકમથી એ બન્યું છે.”‘

| I shewed | תָּב֖וֹא | tābôʾ | ta-VOH |
| lest thee: it | הִשְׁמַעְתִּ֑יךָ | hišmaʿtîkā | heesh-ma-TEE-ha |
| thou shouldest say, | פֶּן | pen | pen |
| idol Mine | תֹּאמַר֙ | tōʾmar | toh-MAHR |
| hath done them, | עָצְבִּ֣י | ʿoṣbî | ohts-BEE |
| image, graven my and | עָשָׂ֔ם | ʿāśām | ah-SAHM |
| and my molten image, | וּפִסְלִ֥י | ûpislî | oo-fees-LEE |
| hath commanded | וְנִסְכִּ֖י | wĕniskî | veh-nees-KEE |
| them. | צִוָּֽם׃ | ṣiwwām | tsee-WAHM |
