Leviticus 17:13
“જે કોઈ ઇસ્રાએલી અથવા ઇસ્રાએલીઓ વચ્ચે વસતો વિદેશી ખાદ્ય પક્ષીનો શિકાર કરે ત્યારે તેણે તેનું બધું લોહી વહી જવા દેવું. અને તેના પર માંટી ઢાંકી દેવી.

| catcheth and | צֵ֥יד | ṣêd | tsade |
| any beast | חַיָּ֛ה | ḥayyâ | ha-YA |
| or | אוֹ | ʾô | oh |
| fowl | ע֖וֹף | ʿôp | ofe |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| may be eaten; | יֵֽאָכֵ֑ל | yēʾākēl | yay-ah-HALE |
| out pour even shall he | וְשָׁפַךְ֙ | wĕšāpak | veh-sha-fahk |
