Leviticus 17:14
કારણ કે લોહીમાં તેનો જીવ છે, તેથી જ મેં ઇસ્રાએલની પ્રજાને કહ્યું છે કે કદાપિ રકત ખાવું નહિ, કેમકે દરેક પ્રાણી અને પક્ષીનો જીવ તેના લોહીમાં છે, તેથી જો કોઈ ખાય તો તેનો સામાંજિક બહિષ્કાર કરવો જોઈએ.
