Leviticus 17:15
“જે કોઈ ઇસ્રાએલી કે વિદેશી કુદરતી રીતે મૃત્યુ પામેલું અથવા જંગલી પ્રાણીઓ માંરી નાખેલું પ્રાણી ખાય તો તેણે પોતાનાં વસ્ત્રો ધોઈ નાખવાં. પાણીથી સ્નાન કરવું અને સાંજ સુધી તે અશુદ્ધ ગણાય તેથી કશાને અડવું નહિ.

| stranger, a or | וּבַגֵּ֑ר | ûbaggēr | oo-va-ɡARE |
| he shall both wash | וְכִבֶּ֨ס | wĕkibbes | veh-hee-BES |
| clothes, his | בְּגָדָ֜יו | bĕgādāyw | beh-ɡa-DAV |
| and bathe | וְרָחַ֥ץ | wĕrāḥaṣ | veh-ra-HAHTS |
| water, in himself | בַּמַּ֛יִם | bammayim | ba-MA-yeem |
| and be unclean | וְטָמֵ֥א | wĕṭāmēʾ | veh-ta-MAY |
| until | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| even: the | הָעֶ֖רֶב | hāʿereb | ha-EH-rev |
| then shall he be clean. | וְטָהֵֽר׃ | wĕṭāhēr | veh-ta-HARE |
