Proverbs 14:31
ગરીબને રંજાડનાર તેના સર્જનહારનું અપમાન કરે છે. પણ ગરીબ ઉપર રહેમ રાખનાર તેને સન્માને છે.

| reproacheth | חֵרֵ֣ף | ḥērēp | hay-RAFE |
| his Maker: | עֹשֵׂ֑הוּ | ʿōśēhû | oh-SAY-hoo |
| honoureth that he but | וּ֝מְכַבְּד֗וֹ | ûmĕkabbĕdô | OO-meh-ha-beh-DOH |
| him hath mercy | חֹנֵ֥ן | ḥōnēn | hoh-NANE |
| on the poor. | אֶבְיֽוֹן׃ | ʾebyôn | ev-YONE |
