Ezekiel 8:17
तब उसने मुझ से कहा, हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, क्या तू ने यह देखा? क्या यहूदा के घराने के लिये घृणित कामों का करना जो वे यहां करते हैं छोटी बात है? उन्होंने अपने देश को उपद्रव से भर दिया, और फिर यहां आकर मुझे रिस दिलाते हैं। वरन वे डाली को अपनी नाक के आगे लिए रहते हैं।

| to the house | לְבֵ֣ית | lĕbêt | leh-VATE |
| of Judah | יְהוּדָ֔ה | yĕhûdâ | yeh-hoo-DA |
| commit they that | מֵעֲשׂ֕וֹת | mēʿăśôt | may-uh-SOTE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the abominations | הַתּוֹעֵב֖וֹת | hattôʿēbôt | ha-toh-ay-VOTE |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| commit they | עָֽשׂוּ | ʿāśû | ah-SOO |
| here? | פֹ֑ה | pō | foh |
| for | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| they have filled | מָלְא֨וּ | molʾû | mole-OO |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| land the | הָאָ֜רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| with violence, | חָמָ֗ס | ḥāmās | ha-MAHS |
| and have returned | וַיָּשֻׁ֙בוּ֙ | wayyāšubû | va-ya-SHOO-VOO |
| anger: to me provoke to | לְהַכְעִיסֵ֔נִי | lĕhakʿîsēnî | leh-hahk-ee-SAY-nee |
| and, lo, | וְהִנָּ֛ם | wĕhinnām | veh-hee-NAHM |
| they put | שֹׁלְחִ֥ים | šōlĕḥîm | shoh-leh-HEEM |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the branch | הַזְּמוֹרָ֖ה | hazzĕmôrâ | ha-zeh-moh-RA |
| to | אֶל | ʾel | el |
