அப்பொழுது அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: மனுபுத்திரனே, இதைக் கண்டாயா? இங்கே யூதா வம்சத்தார் செய்கிற அருவருப்புகள் அற்பமான காரியமா? அவர்கள் தேசத்தைக் கொடுமையினால் நிரப்பி என்னை அடிக்கடி கோபமூட்டுகிறார்கள்; இதோ, அவர்கள் திராட்சக்கிளையைத் தங்கள் நாசிக்கு நேராகப் பிடிக்கிறார்கள்.

பிறகு தேவன் சொன்னார்: “மனுபுத்திரனே, இதனைப் பார்த்தாயா? யூதா ஜனங்கள் எனது ஆலயத்தை முக்கியமானதாகக் கருதாமல், என் ஆலயத்தில் இவ்வாறு பயங்கரமான காரியங்களைச் செய்கின்றனர்! இந்நாடு வன்முறையால் நிறைந்துள்ளது. என்னைக் கோபப்படுத்தும்படியான காரியங்களை எப்பொழுதும் செய்கின்றனர். பார்! தம் மூக்கில் வளையங்களை சந்திரன் எனும் பொய்த் தெய்வத்தை கௌரவப்படுத்துவதற்காக அணிந்துள்ளனர்!
