பசியுள்ளவனிடத்தில் உன் ஆத்துமாவைச் சாய்த்து, சிறுமைப்பட்ட ஆத்துமாவைத் திருப்தியாக்கினால், அப்பொழுது இருளில் உன் வெளிச்சம் உதித்து, உன் அந்தகாரம் மத்தியானத்தைப்போலாகும்.

לָֽרָעֵב֙

Is it not	הֲל֨וֹא	hălôʾ	huh-LOH
to deal	פָרֹ֤ס	pārōs	fa-ROSE
thy bread	לָֽרָעֵב֙	lārāʿēb	la-ra-AVE
to the hungry,	לַחְמֶ֔ךָ	laḥmekā	lahk-MEH-ha
and that thou bring	וַעֲנִיִּ֥ים	waʿăniyyîm	va-uh-nee-YEEM
the poor	מְרוּדִ֖ים	mĕrûdîm	meh-roo-DEEM
that are cast out	תָּ֣בִיא	tābîʾ	TA-vee
to thy house?	בָ֑יִת	bāyit	VA-yeet
when	כִּֽי	kî	kee
thou seest	תִרְאֶ֤ה	tirʾe	teer-EH
the naked,	עָרֹם֙	ʿārōm	ah-ROME
that thou cover	וְכִסִּית֔וֹ	wĕkissîtô	veh-hee-see-TOH
him; and that thou hide	וּמִבְּשָׂרְךָ֖	ûmibbĕśorkā	oo-mee-beh-sore-HA
not thyself	לֹ֥א	lōʾ	loh
from thine own flesh?	תִתְעַלָּֽם׃	titʿallām	teet-ah-LAHM
