Jonah 1:16

அப்பொழுது அந்த மனுஷர் கர்த்தருக்கு மிகவும் பயந்து, கர்த்தருக்குப் பலியிட்டுப் பொருத்தனைகளைப் பண்ணினார்கள்.

Jonah 1:17

யோனாவை விழுங்கும்படி ஒரு பெரிய மீனைக் கர்த்தர் ஆயத்தப்படுத்தியிருந்தார்; அந்த மீன் வயிற்றிலே யோனா இராப்பகல் மூன்றுநாள் இருந்தான்.

to
flee
לִבְרֹ֣חַlibrōaḥleev-ROH-ak
unto
Tarshish
תַּרְשִׁ֔ישָׁהtaršîšâtahr-SHEE-sha
from
the
presence
מִלִּפְנֵ֖יmillipnêmee-leef-NAY
of
the
Lord,
יְהוָ֑הyĕhwâyeh-VA
and
went
down
וַיֵּ֨רֶדwayyēredva-YAY-red
to
Joppa;
יָפ֜וֹyāpôya-FOH
and
he
found
וַיִּמְצָ֥אwayyimṣāʾva-yeem-TSA
a
ship
אָנִיָּ֣ה׀ʾāniyyâah-nee-YA
going
בָּאָ֣הbāʾâba-AH
to
Tarshish:
תַרְשִׁ֗ישׁtaršîštahr-SHEESH
so
he
paid
וַיִּתֵּ֨ןwayyittēnva-yee-TANE
the
fare
שְׂכָרָ֜הּśĕkārāhseh-ha-RA
thereof,
and
went
down
וַיֵּ֤רֶדwayyēredva-YAY-red
into
it,
to
go
בָּהּ֙bāhba
with
לָב֤וֹאlābôʾla-VOH
them
unto
Tarshish
עִמָּהֶם֙ʿimmāhemee-ma-HEM
from
the
presence
תַּרְשִׁ֔ישָׁהtaršîšâtahr-SHEE-sha
of
the
Lord.
מִלִּפְנֵ֖יmillipnêmee-leef-NAY
