ಅದು ದಾವೀದನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅವನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಅವರಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ವ್ಯೂಹಕಟ್ಟಿದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ಅರಾಮ್ಯರಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ವ್ಯೂಹಕಟ್ಟಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದರು.
