Exodus 14:3
ಫರೋಹನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ--ಅವರು ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅರಣ್ಯವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಒಳಗೆ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುವನು.

| in the land, | בָּאָ֑רֶץ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-rets |
| wilderness the | סָגַ֥ר | sāgar | sa-ɡAHR |
| hath shut them in. | עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם | ʿălêhem | uh-lay-HEM |
| הַמִּדְבָּֽר׃ | hammidbār | ha-meed-BAHR |
