ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳಾದ ತರುವಾಯ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಆ ಎರಡು ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು, ಅಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅರಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ತೀರಿಸಿ ದನು. ಆಗ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀರಾಮನಿಗೆ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ನನ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸು. ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರೂ ಕೂಡ ಇರಲಿ. ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕೂಲಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಡು ತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಚೀದೋನ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ಮರವನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯಲು ತಿಳಿದವರಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀನು ಬಲ್ಲೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೀನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ದೇವದಾರು ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ತುರಾಯಿಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಗಂಧದ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸು. ಲೆಬನೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿಯಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವ ಕರು ಜಾಣರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಾವು ಲೆಬನೋನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದಷ್ಟು ಮರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಡಿದು ತೆಪ್ಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಯೊಪ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತೇವೆ; ನೀನು ಅವುಗ ಳನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯಬಹುದು.
