ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಂದಿರದಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರದ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾದ ಕೋರೆ ಷನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಮಂದಿರದಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಾನು ನೇಮಿಸಿದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಶೆಷ್ಬಚ್ಚರನಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--
