ಯೋವೇಲ 2:2
ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೂ ಮೊಬ್ಬೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ದಿವಸವೂ; ಮೇಘವೂ ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲೂ ಉಳ್ಳ ದಿವಸ ವೂ; ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಸಿರುವ ಉದಯದ ಹಾಗಿದೆ. ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಲವಾದ ಜನವು; ಅದರ ಹಾಗೆ ಎಂದೂ ಇದ್ದದ್ದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದರ ತರುವಾಯ ತಲತಲಾಂತರಗಳ ವರುಷಗಳ ವರೆಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಇರುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

כְּשַׁ֖חַרkĕšaḥarkeh-SHA-hahr
spread
פָּרֻ֣שׂpāruśpa-ROOS
upon
עַלʿalal
the
mountains:
הֶֽהָרִ֑יםhehārîmheh-ha-REEM
a
great
עַ֚םʿamam
people
רַ֣בrabrahv
strong;
a
and
וְעָצ֔וּםwĕʿāṣûmveh-ah-TSOOM
there
hath
not
כָּמֹ֗הוּkāmōhûka-MOH-hoo
been
לֹ֤אlōʾloh
ever
נִֽהְיָה֙nihĕyāhnee-heh-YA

מִןminmeen
the
like,
הָ֣עוֹלָ֔םhāʿôlāmHA-oh-LAHM
neither
וְאַֽחֲרָיו֙wĕʾaḥărāywveh-AH-huh-rav

יוֹסֵ֔ףyôsēpyoh-SAFE
to

it,
עַדʿadad
the
years
שְׁנֵ֖יšĕnêsheh-NAY

generations.
