യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന താമ്ര യാഗപീഠം ഹോമയാഗം, ഭോജനയാഗം, സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളുടെ മേദസ്സ് എന്നിവ കൊള്ളുന്നതിന്നു പോരാതിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു രാജാവു അന്നു യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള പ്രാകാരത്തിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യഭാഗം ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചു അവിടെ ഹോമയാഗവും ഭോജനയാഗവും സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളുടെ മേദസ്സും അർപ്പിച്ചു.

the house בֵית bayit ba-YEET
of the Lord: יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
for כִּי kî kee
he offered עָ֣שָׂה ʿāśâ ah-SA
there שָׁ֗ם šām shahm
אֶת ʾēt ate
burnt offerings, הָֽעֹלָה֙ ʿōlâ oh-LA
וְאֶת ʾēt ate
and meat offerings, הַמִּנְחָ֔ה minḥâ meen-HA
וְאֵ֖ת ʾēt ate
and the fat חֶלְבֵ֣י ḥeleb heh-LEV
of the peace offerings: הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים šelem sheh-LEM
because כִּֽי kî kee
altar מִזְבַּ֤ח mizbēaḥ meez-BAY-ak
the brasen הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ nĕḥōšet neh-hoh-SHET
that אֲשֶׁ֣ר ʾăšer uh-SHER
before לִפְנֵ֣י pānîm pa-NEEM
the Lord יְהוָ֔ה yĕhōwâ yeh-hoh-VA
too little קָטֹ֗ן qāṭān ka-TAHN
to receive מֵֽהָכִיל֙ kûl kool
אֶת ʾēt ate
the burnt offerings, הָֽעֹלָ֣ה ʿōlâ oh-LA
וְאֶת ʾēt ate
and meat offerings, הַמִּנְחָ֔ה minḥâ meen-HA
