ദാവീദ് തന്റെ സാമാനം പടക്കോപ്പു സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നവന്റെ പക്കൽ ഏല്പിച്ചുംവെച്ചു അണിയിൽ ഓടിച്ചെന്നു തന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടു കുശലം ചോദിച്ചു.

and ran	וַיָּ֖רָץ	rûṣ	roots
into the army,	הַמַּֽעֲרָכָ֑ה	maʿărākâ	ma-uh-ra-HA
and came	וַיָּבֹ֕א	bôʾ	boh
and saluted	וַיִּשְׁאַ֥ל	šāʾal	sha-AL
his brethren.	לְאֶחָ֖יו	ʾāḥ	ak
	לְשָׁלֽוֹם׃	šālôm	sha-LOME
