ദാവീദ് നോബിൽ പുരോഹിതനായ അഹീമേലെക്കിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു; അഹീമേലെക്ക് ദാവീദിനെ സംഭ്രമത്തോടെ എതിരേറ്റു അവനോടു: ആരും കൂടെ ഇല്ലാതെ തനിച്ചുവരുന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
