അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ വന്നുനിന്നു മുമ്പിലത്തെപ്പോലെ: ശമൂവേലേ, ശമൂവേലേ, എന്നു വിളിച്ചു. അതിന്നു ശമൂവേൽ: അരുളിച്ചെയ്യേണമേ; അടിയൻ കേൾക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
