അവിടത്തെ ജനത്തെയും അവൻ പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു അവരെ ഈർച്ചവാളിന്നും മെതിവണ്ടിക്കും കോടാലിക്കും ആക്കി; അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു ഇഷ്ടികച്ചൂളയിലും വേല ചെയ്യിച്ചു; അമ്മോന്യരുടെ എല്ലാ പട്ടണങ്ങളോടും അവൻ അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ ചെയ്തു. പിന്നെ ദാവീദും സകല ജനവും യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു.

the people הָעָ֨ם ʿam am
that אֲשֶׁר ʾăšer uh-SHER
בָּ֜הּ
And he brought forth הוֹצִ֗יא yāṣāʾ ya-TSA
therein, and put וַיָּ֣שֶׂם śûm soom
under saws, בַּ֠מְּגֵרָה mĕgērâ meh-ɡay-RA
and under harrows וּבַֽחֲרִצֵ֨י ḥārîṣ ha-REETS
of iron, הַבַּרְזֶ֜ל barzel bahr-ZEL
and under axes וּֽבְמַגְזְרֹ֣ת magzērâ mahɡ-zay-RA
of iron, הַבַּרְזֶ֗ל barzel bahr-ZEL
and made them pass through וְהֶֽעֱבִ֤יר ʿābar ah-VAHR
אוֹתָם֙ ʾēt ate
the brickkiln: בַּמַּלְכֵּ֔ן malbēn mahl-BANE
and thus וְכֵ֣ן kēn kane
did יַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה ʿāśâ ah-SA
